Abstract: Provided is a high-pressure fuel supply pump capable of reducing a manufacturing cost of a part for holding a metal damper. The high-pressure fuel supply pump includes a pump body 1 having a pressurizing chamber 11 therein, a damper cover 14 forming a damper chamber 10 together with the pump body 1 on the upstream side of the pressurizing chamber 11, a metal damper 9 that is disposed in the damper cover 10 and formed by laminating two metal diaphragms, and a first holding member 9a that is disposed in the damper chamber 10 and presses and holds the metal damper 9 from one side. The first holding member 9a includes a first regulation portion that regulates the radial movement of the metal damper 9, and a second regulation portion that regulates the radial movement of the first holding member 9a in the damper chamber 10. At a position of the second regulation portion, a flow path is formed which allows the fuel in the damper chamber 10 to circulate to both surfaces of the metal damper 9.

Abstract: Provided is a high-pressure fuel pump in which responsiveness of closing a suction valve can be maintained even when the high-pressure fuel pump is increased in pressure or capacity of the high-pressure fuel pump is increased, thereby ensuring discharge efficiency. Therefore, the high-pressure fuel pump includes the rod that urges the suction valve in the valve opening direction, the mover that drives the rod in the valve closing direction, and the solenoid that generates a magnetic attraction force for moving the mover in the valve closing direction. After the suction valve starts moving from the suction valve closing position in the valve opening direction, the rod reaches the suction valve closing position and further moves in the valve opening direction.

Abstract: A high pressure fuel supply pump includes: an electromagnetic suction valve that adjusts an amount of fuel sucked into a pressuring chamber; a discharge valve that discharges the fuel from the pressuring chamber; and a plunger that makes a reciprocating motion in the pressuring chamber. The electromagnetic suction valve includes an electromagnetic coil, a suction valve, and a movable portion that is able to close the suction valve by a magnetic force when the electromagnetic coil is energized. The movable portion includes an anchor that is driven to close the suction valve by the magnetic force and stops at a fixed member, and a rod that is driven with the anchor and is able to move even after the anchor stops. The electromagnetic suction valve includes a first and second springs that bias the suction valve in closed and open direction, respectively, and a third spring in the rod.

The pressure chamber is provided in the pump housing. The damper chamber is formed by the pump housing and a damper cover. The metal diaphragm damper is arranged in the damper chamber. At the press-fitted portion, an annular surface of the damper cover is press fitted to an annular surface of the pump housing. The weld portion fixes the damper cover to the pump housing at an entire circumference of the press-fitted portion.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to supply a high-pressure fuel supply pump capable of holding a spring holding member while reducing the height of the pump body.
A high-pressure fuel supply pump is provided with a pump body for forming a pressurizing chamber at an inner wall portion, and a flange portion for fixing the pump body to a high-pressure fuel supply pump mounting portion. The high-pressure fuel supply pump is provided with a cylinder and a spring holding member. The cylinder is inserted into a hole portion of the pump body from a lower side and in which the pressurizing chamber is formed further above an uppermost end surface. The spring holding member has an outer peripheral portion press-fitted and fixed to the pump body and a holding portion holding a spring portion for biasing the pump body between the outer peripheral portion and the inner peripheral portion. A spring-side lowest end portion of the holding surface of the spring holding member is disposed above the lowermost end portion of the flange portion.-

The cylinder is swaged to the hole by pressing a convex portion on an outside in a radial direction to fit into the hole on an opposite side to the pressing chamber, by screwing a formed screw thread into the hole, or by being swaged with the opposite side to the pressing chamber. The cylinder is formed with a clearance in the radial direction with respect to the hole of the pump body all over a region from a bonding portion to an upper end.

A radial gap is formed in an entire area of the cylinder in an axial direction thereof.

Abstract: A fuel pump includes an electromagnetically driven intake valve mechanism, a pump housing, a discharge valve, an opening, a seal member, and a first relief passage. The relief valve mechanism has a relief valve, a relief valve seat contacting the relief valve when the relief valve is closed and a relief spring biasing the relief valve against the relief valve seat. A second relief passage, communicating the first relief passage and a hole formed in the relief seat, is formed between the seal member and the relief valve seat. The relief valve seat, the relief valve, and the relief spring are arranged in this order beginning from the open end side.
