摘要: A valve includes a housing. A stroking valve is operatively connected to the housing for valve stroking movement relative to the housing in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the housing. The stroking valve has an open position for flow through the housing and a closed position for blocking flow through the housing. The stroking valve is configured to make sealing contact with a second face seal between the seal block and the stroking valve after a first portion of a stroke from the open position to the closed position prior to making sealing contact with a first face seal between the stroking valve and the housing.

The second inlet duct has a plurality of second feed channels extending towards and fluidly connected to the plurality of second fluid channels. The plurality of first feed channels are interwoven with the plurality of second feed channels proximate an intersection region between the first inlet duct and the second inlet duct.

A manual override (MOR) valve selector is disposed between the first pressure valve, the second pressure valve, and the SAV actuator, the MOR valve selector configured to selectively fluidly connect the first pressure valve and the SAV actuator in a first position and to fluidly connect the second pressure valve and the SAV actuator in a second position.

摘要: A gear pump includes a drive gear with drive gear teeth and a driven gear with driven gear teeth. The drive gear is rotatably disposed about a drive gear axis. The driven gear is rotatably disposed about a driven gear axis and is intermeshed with the drive gear such that a plurality of driven gear teeth are in sliding contact with a plurality of the driven gear teeth. One or more of the drive gear teeth or the driven gear teeth define within the tooth interior a cavity. The cavity is in fluid communication through an orifice with an inter-tooth volume defined between the contacting drive gear teeth and driven gear teeth such that fluid flows through the orifice to reduce cavitation within fluid confined within the inter-tooth volume.

The float is configured to occlude a tank outlet at a first fluid level and 1 G and unocclude the tank outlet at a second fluid level and 1 G. The negative G control component is operatively connected to the float to limit fluid, e.g. liquid or gas, communication between a tank outlet and an ejector pump during negative G events. An ecology fuel return system includes a tank, an ejector pump, a float, and a negative G control component, as described above. The tank has an inlet and an outlet. The inlet is configured to be in fluid communication with components of an engine. The ejector pump is in fluid communication with the tank outlet and is configured to pump fuel from the tank to a fuel pump inlet of an engine.

摘要: A starter air valve has a valve member and an actuator. A rotary spool valve has a rotatable valve body and an outer housing to selectively provide three modes of operation for the starter air valve. A first mode of operation connects air through the rotatable valve body to communicate with an actuator control, and to receive air back from the actuator control. The rotatable valve body then communicates the air to the actuator. In a second mode the rotatable valve body blocks communication between the actuator control and the actuator, and delivers air through a variable area port in a wall of the rotatable valve body to bypass the valve member. In a third mode the rotatable valve body blocks communication between the actuator and the actuator control, and connects air to the actuator without having passed to the actuator control. A starter air system is also disclosed.
