    摘要: A combination of a toilet and an anti refill device, the toilet comprises a bowl, a tank connected to the bowl for storing water and to supply the stored water to the bowl, a flushing structure which releases water from the tank into the bowl, a supply valve for refilling the tank with water after the flushing structure has released all the water into the bowl and a float structure for activating and deactivating the supply valve by floating in the water so that when the water is low the supply valve is activated and when the water is full the supply valve is deactivated. The anti refill device comprises a lock arm attached to the float structure and has an end, a lock device arranged to cooperate with end for controlling the lock arm and a structure activated by the flush structure which activates the lock device and the end to release the lock arm so the float arm lowers and the supply valve can fill the tank after flushing. The device is arranged to stop the float structure from activating the supply valve when the flushing structure is not activated. The lock arm is held in place by the lock device and the end such that the float structure does not activate the supply valve, wherein the end and the lock device engage to define a ratchet in which a plurality of teeth have a first side so that the lock arm slides against the lock device so that the float arm can activate the supply valve and a second side of the teeth being at an angle such that the float arm is prevented from lowering.

    摘要: An adjustable height fill valve assembly for controlling water level in a storage tank, comprises a lower riser assembly comprising concentrically disposed inlet riser and an outer riser housing, each having an upper end and a lower end, the inlet riser and the riser housing connected together at the lower ends, the inlet riser being adapted for mounting in a hole in a flush tank, an upper riser assembly comprising concentrically disposed inner supply tube and an outer tubular valve housing, each having an upper end and a lower end, a main valve seat at the upper end of the inner supply tube, the upper riser assembly telescopically mounted on the lower riser assembly, a latch between the riser housing and the tubular valve housing for latching the upper and the lower riser assemblies in selected extended and retracted positions, the latch disengageable upon rotation of the upper riser assembly in either direction from a central position, a valve housing cap having a bayonet lock connection for quick connect detachable connection to an upper end of the tubular valve housing, a pilot operated main diaphragm valve mounted in the valve housing cap and engageable with the valve seat for controlling flow of water into the valve housing from the supply tube, a pressure control chamber in the housing cap above the main diaphragm valve in communication with the inlet tube, a vent port having a vent valve seat in the housing cap for venting the pressure chamber, a unitary float and float arm pivotally mounted on the cap and having a vent valve member mounted thereon for engaging the vent valve seat for closing the vent port.

    摘要: A non-chattering, float-controlled, pilot-operated diaphragm valve for controlling the flow of liquids from a conduit under pressure to a tank where the surface is in turbulent condition. The lightweight float and pilot valve follow the relatively high frequency fluctuations of level and the diaphragm valve responds causing a rapid opening and closing of the main flow through the conduit into the tank. The chattering is eliminated by the insertion of operative means between the float closure means and the movable diaphragm. A small diameter rod of selected length is positioned between the diaphragm and the closure means so that when the main flow through the conduit starts, the movement of the diaphragm away from the conduit forces the pilot valve to open and submerge the float to a considerable depth. While the float rises, the pilot valve remains open permitting the main flow to continue, and raising the level in the tank a substantial amount so that there is a continuing pressure on the float to maintain a closed pilot. This prevent the immediate reopening of the conduit and therefore, removes the rapid chattering action.
