Abstract:
A converter for a vehicle including an inductor which includes at least one coil, a core including a first region having an annular planar shape, around which the at least one coil is wound, and a second region having at least one first through-hole, a case accommodating the at least one coil and the core and including at least one cooling rod inserted into the at least one first through-hole, and a fixing bolt fastened to the at least one cooling rod exposed through the at least one first through-hole to fix the core to the case.
Abstract:
A system and method for controlling energy of an eco-friendly vehicle are provided and include turning off, by a controller, a main relay in response to sensing interlock by means of a detection circuit and charging a secondary batter by discharging voltage of a capacitor in an inverter to the secondary battery, under control of voltage output from a low voltage DC converter after the main relay is turned off. In addition, the controller is configured to discharge DC-link voltage to a driving motor by operating the inverter after charging the second battery.
Abstract:
A fault diagnosing system method for a coolant switching device for a vehicle are provided. The fault diagnosing system includes a first coolant pipe line that passes through an electronic device and an interior heating device. A second coolant pipe line branches off the first coolant pipe line and passes through a radiator. In addition, a coolant switching device is disposed at a branching point at which the second coolant pipe line branches off the first coolant pipe line and an on-board charger charges a vehicle battery and is disposed on the second pipe line. A controller is configured to determine a failure of the coolant switching device and stop the on-board charger from charging the vehicle battery when a temperature of the on-board charger is greater than a first set temperature and a temperature of the electronic device is less than a second set temperature.

Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for detecting disconnection from three-phase cable are provided. The method includes switching a plurality of switching elements included within switching units each corresponding to the respective phases of three-phase circuits configuring an output stage based on a predetermined criteria. In addition, the method includes applying a current generated in an input stage to the switching elements determined to be switched on and off based on the switching and detecting a current flow from the plurality of switching elements based on the applied current. Further, which of the three-phase circuits at the output stage is an open phase is determined based on the detection result.
