    Abstract: A membrane electrode assembly includes: an electrolyte membrane; a catalyst electrode layer including a cathode catalyst electrode disposed on the electrolyte membrane and an anode catalyst electrode disposed under the electrolyte membrane; and a sub-gasket disposed on the electrolyte membrane to be in contact with an edge of the catalyst electrode layer. Each of the sub-gasket includes a moisture drain hole penetrating the sub-gasket to expose a portion of the electrolyte membrane outside.

    Abstract: An anode structure of a lithium sulfur battery includes a sulfur anode laminated on an aluminum foil, and a carbon coating layer disposed between the sulfur anode and a carbon structure layer in which sulfur is immersed. The sulfur anode includes thesulfur, a conductor, and a binder. The carbon structure layer in which sulfur is immersed is a polyester (PE) separation membrane separated from a counter electrode. A loaded amount of sulfur within the anode structure is dispersed to the sulfur anode and the carbon structure layer in which the sulfur is immersed.

    Abstract: A lithium-sulfur battery with improved cell performance may include a carbon layer. A high loading anode is needed to increase energy density, but it is difficult to express capacity when testing a cell of the high loading anode. To retain electrolyte solution so as to improve cell performance when loading is increased, a conductive structure may be inserted to the cell, thereby providing not only electrolyte solution-retaining but also a reaction site.
