    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus, and a base station subsystem for paging a terminal in a multi-band network. The method includes: obtaining a frequency band support capability of the terminal, where the frequency band support capability is information about one or multiple frequency bands supported by the terminal; if the terminal supports multiple frequency bands, obtaining a corresponding frequency band for the terminal according to the preset rule; and page the terminal on the obtained corresponding frequency band.
