Abstract: An antenna port mapping method and a network device are disclosed. The method includes: determining, by a network device, a polarization direction of each of P physical antennas of the network device and an antenna array to which each of the P physical antennas belongs, where P is a multiple of 4; and respectively mapping, by the network device, a first antenna port and a second antenna port to a first group of physical antennas and a second group of physical antennas in the P physical antennas, and respectively mapping a third antenna port and a fourth antenna port to a third group of physical antennas and a fourth group of physical antennas in the P physical antennas.

Abstract: A signal transmission method includes: processing, by a base station, a first baseband signal, a second baseband signal, a third baseband signal, and a fourth baseband signal by using a VAM matrix, to obtain four processed signals; performing precoding processing on the four processed signals to obtain four coded signals; and sending the four coded signals to a mobile terminal by using four radio frequency ports. The four radio frequency ports are in a one-to-one correspondence with the four coded signals. A first processed signal is the same as a third processed signal, a second processed signal is the same as a fourth processed signal. The first processed signal is obtained by performing superposition on the first baseband signal and the third baseband signal, and the second processed signal is obtained by performing superposition on the second baseband signal and the fourth baseband signal.

Abstract: A data transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: determining a second weight matrix based on a first weight matrix indicated by a first PMI fed back by a terminal, and then converting the second weight matrix into a non-equal power weight matrix based on a non-equal coefficient matrix, so that a network device can send data with non-equal power on different radio frequency channels. This improves power utilization, implements a better beam side lobe, better mitigates a performance loss caused by inaccurate channel information, and improves data transmission quality.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a MIMO mode configuration method and a communication device, which relate to the field of communications, and are capable of reducing mutual channel interference when users in neighboring cells and on the same channel perform transmission by using configured MIMO mode, thereby improving system performance. The method includes: calculating, under each predetermined MIMO mode combination in a cluster, throughput or an amount of interference of the cluster; and setting, in a predetermined MIMO mode combination corresponding to maximum throughput or a minimum amount of interference of the cluster, a predetermined MIMO mode of each user in the cluster to an actual MIMO mode of the user. The embodiments of the present invention are applied to MIMO mode configuration for a user in a cell.
