Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide an upgrade method and apparatus, and an electronic device, and relate to the field of the Internet-of-vehicles technologies. The method includes: A server obtains a first instruction when a software function of an in-vehicle component is faulty, where the first instruction is used to indicate an upgrade strategy of the in-vehicle component, and the upgrade strategy is associated with a software function status of the in-vehicle component. The server sends task information of an upgrade task in response to the first instruction, where the task information includes information about the upgrade strategy, and the information about the upgrade strategy is used to indicate the in-vehicle component to be upgraded. Correspondingly, after receiving the task information of the upgrade task, a vehicle may upgrade the in-vehicle component based on the upgrade strategy.
