Abstract: A damper apparatus (12) as the force generation mechanism mounted between a vehicle body (2) and a bogie (5) includes an attenuation damper (13), an electric damper (14), and a gear apparatus (15). The attenuation damper includes a rod protruding from a cylinder, and generates a damping force by converting motion energy of a forward or backward movement of the rod into heat energy. The electric damper includes a stator, and a movable element linearly movable relative to the stator. The gear apparatus is disposed between the attenuation damper and the electric damper, and can mechanically switch the attenuation damper and the electric damper between a series connection and a parallel connection. The gear apparatus switches a connection state between the attenuation damper and the electric damper according to the condition.

Abstract: A replenishment passage connects a compressor to a tank, and a first check valve is provided in the middle of the replenishment passage. A supply/discharge passage connects the tank to air suspensions. A supply/discharge switching valve is provided in the middle of the supply/discharge passage, and suspension control valves are provided at a location between the supply/discharge switching valve and the air suspensions. A discharge passage connects the supply/discharge switching valve to a suction port of the compressor, and a discharge passage open/close valve is provided in the middle of the discharge passage. When a vehicle height is lowered, air within the air suspensions is guided to the suction port of the compressor through the discharge passage, compressed by the compressor, and supplied into the tank.

Abstract: The controller inputs a required thrust force value calculated by a required thrust force calculation unit, to a low frequency filter and a high frequency filter. Output values of the low frequency filter and the high frequency filter are amplitude-limited by a low frequency limiter and a high frequency limiter, respectively. Output values of the low frequency limiter and the high frequency limiter are added, and the added value is output into an inverter as a thrust force instruction value. In this case, a limit value of the low frequency limiter is set to be smaller than a limit value of the high frequency limiter.
