摘要: A fabric printable medium includes a fabric base substrate, which includes yarn strands and voids among the yarn strands. The fabric printable medium further includes a finishing coating attached to the yarn strands of the fabric base substrate to form coated yarn strands. The finishing coating includes a first and a second crosslinked polymeric network. The fabric printable medium has pore spaces among the coated yarn strands that coincide with at least some of the voids of the fabric base substrate.

摘要: In an example implementation, an image transfer method includes inkjet printing a latex ink image onto a propylene-ethylene copolymer film extruded onto a single-layer image transfer sheet. The method includes putting the latex ink image and the single-layer image transfer sheet in contact with a substrate, and using heat and pressure to exclusively transfer the latex ink image onto the substrate, after which the single-layer transfer sheet is removed from the substrate.

摘要: The present disclosure is drawn to hybrid media sheets, ink-receiving layer compositions for coating on a media substrate, and a method of making hybrid media sheets. The hybrid media sheet scan have a media substrate with a front barrier layer, a back barrier layer, an adhesion promoting layer applied to the front barrier layer, and an ink-receiving layer applied to the adhesion promoting layer. The ink-receiving layer can include a water-soluble polymer, a mordant, and particles of a metal- or semimetal-oxide.

摘要: The present disclosure is drawn to an air flow device and system for evaluating fabric integrity and cyclic stress of a media banner, and a method of simulating prolonged wind exposure on a media banner. The device can comprise a duct having an exit opening with an opening area of 100 to 250 in2; a blower in fluid communication with the duct, the blower and the duct adapted to generate an ambient air speed at the exit opening of 35 mph or more, wherein the exit opening is positioned at least 2 feet from the blower; and a programming panel electrically coupled with the blower and adapted to program and cycle operation times and air speeds.

摘要: A recording medium and a method for making the recording medium are disclosed. The recording medium includes a core substrate. The core substrate includes a base having two opposed surfaces. The base includes from about 40% to about 70% organic material and from about 30% to about 60% inorganic material. The core substrate also includes a mineral coating layer disposed on one or both of the two opposed surfaces of the base. The mineral coating layer has a water-soluble or water-dispersible binder and mineral materials. An adhesion layer is disposed on the mineral coating layer. A surface treatment layer is disposed on the adhesion layer, and the surface treatment layer includes organic fibrous material.
