    摘要: A high-brightness diffusion plate with trapezoid lens applied to a direct-type backlight module is disclosed. The high-brightness diffusion plate with trapezoid lens according to the present invention consists of a diffusion plate and a plurality of trapezoid lens disposed on at least one side of the diffusion plate for improving light efficiency and diffusion effect of the diffusion plate. By the diffusion plate with trapezoid lens, the direct-type backlight module provides better light output as well as more uniform brightness. Moreover, the diffusion plate of the present invention is used in combination with all or part of optical film. The optical film includes brightness enhancement film (BEF), an upper diffuser sheet and an lower diffuser sheet. The diffusion plate is made from plastic. By extrusion, the diffusion plate and the plurality of trapezoid lens are easily processed to form an integral. Therefore, the direct-type backlight module has better light output efficiency with lower cost.

The diffusion sheet advocates that while producing diffusion layer, at least a ultra-violet rays absorption layer set on the surface of diffusion layer at the same time to achieve insulating ultra-violet rays directly irradiated on the diffusion sheet and to avoid yellow and pyrolysis phenomenon occurred on the diffusion sheet. These results in avoiding the deviation caused from color temperature and chromaticity coordinate of TFT-LCD TV because of yellow diffusion sheet, then to achieve the purpose of improving product quality and materials lifespan.

    摘要: An optical diffusion device applied in a backlight module includes a plate. Multiple light sources are disposed on one side of the plate. Multiple optical microstructures provided with a longer axis and a shorter axis are disposed on the plate. The longer axis of each optical microstructure is approximately arranged in parallel with a direction extending from the light source, or, in other words, the shorter axis is arranged approximately crossing the direction extending from the light source. A diffusion effect is provided to each light source through the shorter axis of the optical microstructure to increase optical radiant energy among the light sources and to eliminate the dim and dark regions among the light sources for increasing general luminance of the backlight module.
