摘要: A method (200) for desulfurization of a flue gas in a desulfurization unit of an industrial plant, includes receiving (202) a plurality of baseline parameters corresponding to the desulfurization unit of the industrial plant. The method further includes measuring (204), using a stack sensor, an emission value of sulfur oxides in the flue gas. The method also includes estimating (208), using a controller, a desirable value of a slurry parameter for desulfurization of the flue gas based on the measured emission value of the sulfur oxides. The method further includes determining (208), using the controller, at least one desulfurization parameter based on the desirable value of the slurry parameter. The method also includes controlling (210), using the controller, operation of the desulfurization unit based on the at least one desulfurization parameter to modify consumption of at least one of a slurry and an auxiliary power in the industrial plant.

摘要: A system for monitoring health of a rotor is presented. The system includes a processing subsystem that generates a measurement matrix based upon a plurality of resonant-frequency first delta times of arrival vectors corresponding to a blade and a first sensing device, and a plurality of resonant-frequency second delta times of arrival vectors corresponding to the blade and a second sensing device, generates a resonant matrix based upon the measurement matrix such that entries in the resonant matrix are substantially linearly uncorrelated and linearly independent, and generates a resonance signal using a first subset of the entries of the resonant matrix, wherein the resonance signal substantially comprises common observations and components of the plurality of resonant-frequency first delta times of arrival vectors and the plurality of resonant-frequency second delta times of arrival vectors.

摘要: A multi-farm wind power dispatch management system is provided which includes wind turbine dispatch controllers for controlling wind power dispatch of respective wind farm components and wind farm dispatch management systems for receiving respective wind farm component operating parameters and generating respective farm-level operating parameters. The system also includes group dispatch management systems for receiving the farm-level operating parameters and generating respective group level operating parameters. The system also includes a master dispatch management system for receiving the group-level operating parameters; computing a real time output power generated by the wind farm components; determining a difference between the real time output power and a committed output power; and generating reference commands, based on the difference, for controlling at least one of, the wind farm component operating parameters, the farm-level operating parameters, the group level operating parameters, or combinations thereof to reduce the difference and dispatch the committed output power.

The system includes a processing subsystem that generates a plurality of frequency peak values corresponding to two or more respective windows of signals by iteratively shifting the two or more respective windows of signals along delta times of arrival signals corresponding to a blade in the rotor, determines one or more resonant-frequency rotor speeds ranges of the blade by identifying rotor speeds corresponding to a subset of the plurality of frequency peak values, and monitors the blade to determine a presence of one or more defects in the blade during the resonant-frequency rotor speeds regions.
