摘要: Vibrational damping assemblies, turbomachine airfoils, and exhaust diffusers are provided. A vibrational damping assembly includes at least one pin coupled to the turbomachine component. The at least one pin has a pin body and a disk coupled to the pin body. The vibrational damping assembly further includes at least one plate disposed between the disk and the turbomachine component. The at least one plate is movable between the disk and the turbomachine component relative to the plurality of pins and relative to the turbomachine component to dampen vibrations experienced by the turbomachine component.

摘要: A coupling system for a machine assembly and a base is provided. The machine assembly includes a frame and a gib key extending outwardly from the frame. The coupling system includes at least one u-bracket configured to couple to the gib key such that said at least one u-bracket cooperates with the gib key to define a tenon pin opening. The at least one u-bracket is sized and shaped to be received in a clearance fit in a key channel defined in the base. The coupling system also includes a tenon pin sized and shaped to be received in the tenon pin opening such that the tenon pin couples the base to the gib key, and such that forces exerted on the received tenon pin parallel to a first direction are substantially in tension between the machine assembly and the base.

摘要: The present application and the resultant patent provide an exhaust frame for a gas turbine engine. The exhaust frame may include an inner casing extending along a longitudinal axis of the exhaust frame, an outer casing positioned radially outward from the inner casing, a strut extending radially from the inner casing to the outer casing, and a relief groove defined in the inner casing or the outer casing and positioned about the strut. The present application and the resultant patent further provide a method for distributing stress concentrations in an exhaust frame of a gas turbine engine.
