摘要: A method of operating a fuel cell assembly for an aircraft is provided. The method includes: receiving flight load predictor data for a scheduled flight of the aircraft prior to initiation of the scheduled flight of the aircraft; and reconfiguring the fuel cell assembly in response to the received flight load predictor data prior to the initiation of the scheduled flight of the aircraft, wherein reconfiguring the fuel cell assembly comprises adding or removing a fuel cell module to or from the fuel cell assembly to increase or decrease a power capacity of the fuel cell assembly.

摘要: A combustion section defines an axial direction, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction. The combustion section includes a casing that defines a diffusion chamber. A combustion liner is disposed within the diffusion chamber and defines a combustion chamber. The combustion liner is spaced apart from the casing such that a passageway is defined between the combustion liner and the casing. A fuel cell assembly is disposed in the passageway. The fuel cell assembly includes a fuel cell stack that has a plurality of fuel cells each extending between an inlet end and an outlet end. The inlet end receives a flow of air and fuel and the outlet end provides output products to the combustion chamber. The outlet end of the plurality of fuel cells extends through the combustion liner and partially defines the combustion chamber.

摘要: A propulsion system including: a fuel cell assembly comprising a fuel cell, the fuel cell defining an outlet positioned to remove output products from the fuel cell and a fuel cell assembly operating condition; a combustion section that includes a combustor configured to receive a flow of aviation fuel from the aircraft fuel supply and further configured to receive the output products from the fuel cell; and a controller comprising memory and one or more processors, the memory storing instructions that when executed by the one or more processors cause the propulsion system to perform operations including: determining data indicative of at least one of an enthalpy or a composition of the output products from the fuel cell; and modifying the flow of aviation fuel from the aircraft fuel supply to the combustor based on the at least one of the enthalpy or the composition of the output products.

摘要: A gas turbine engine includes a fuel cell assembly including a fuel cell stack and defining a fuel cell assembly operating parameter, a fuel source, and a turbomachine. The turbomachine includes a compressor section, a combustor, and a turbine section arranged in serial flow order. The combustor is configured to receive a flow of fuel from the fuel source and further configured to receive output products from the fuel cell stack. A controller is configured to perform operations including receiving data indicative of system operation conditions, determining a set of fuel cell operating conditions to move the system emission output into or maintain the system emission output within an emissions range, and controlling the fuel cell assembly operating parameter according to the determined set of fuel cell operating conditions.

摘要: In some embodiments, identifying a replay attack in an industrial control system of an industrial asset includes receiving a first set of time series data associated with an ambient condition of one or more first monitoring nodes at a first location of the industrial control system. An actual system feature value for the industrial asset is determined based upon the first set of time series data. A second set of time series data indicative of the ambient condition at a second location is received, and a nominal system feature value is determined based upon the second set of time series data. A correlation between the actual feature value and the nominal system feature value is analyzed to determine a correlation result. A request received by the industrial control system is selectively categorized as a replay attack based upon the correlation result.

摘要: Some embodiments provide a system to protect an electric vehicle charging infrastructure. An electric vehicle charging site may receive AC power from a power grid and provide DC power to electric vehicles. The charging site may include a plurality of monitoring nodes each generating a series of current monitoring node values over time that represent a current operation of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure. A supply equipment communication controller may receive an access request from an access requestor associated with an electric vehicle, the access request being associated with a platform certificate. A secondary actor policy decision point at the charging site may evaluate the access requestor's identity and respond with an action message allowing high-level communication with the access requestor to proceed. Note that information associated with the current monitoring node values and/or the access request may be stored in a secure, distributed transaction ledger (e.g., an attestation blockchain).

摘要: A fuel cell unit that includes a support structure having a plurality of flow channels and an active layer membrane coupled with the support structure, the active layer membrane comprising at least one electrode layer. Each flow channel of the plurality of flow channels is configured to direct one of air and fuel across at least one electrode layer of an active layer membrane to create electric current. Each flow channel of the plurality of flow channels includes at least one enhancement feature that is configured to disrupt a formation of a boundary layer near a surface of the active layer membrane where reactions occur. The plurality of flow channels can be positioned in a zig-zag configuration to allow for an increase in power density of the fuel cell unit.
