Abstract: This document describes systems and apparatuses for a grounding architecture within an electronic device directed at improving isolation for enhanced antenna desensitization. In aspects, an electronic device includes a grounding architecture positioned at least partially within an internal cavity of a housing. The grounding architecture includes a first insulating layer, a first copper tape layer, a second insulating layer, a second copper tape layer, and a metal trim layer. In such a configuration, isolation within the electronic device can be improved and antenna sensitivity degradation can be reduced.

Abstract: A display panel includes an array of pixels extending in a plane and arranged in rows, wherein a first plurality of the rows extend to an edge of the pixel array and one or more rows at a corner of the pixel array are recessed from the edge. The display panel includes driver circuits each connected to a corresponding row of the pixel array and occupying an area in the plane, the area having a long dimension and an orthogonal short dimension. A first set of driver circuits are connected to corresponding rows of the first plurality of rows and a second set of driver circuits are connected to corresponding rows at the corner of the pixel array. The long dimension of each of the drivers of the first set of drivers is greater than the long dimension of each of the drivers of the second set of drivers.

Abstract: This document describes systems and techniques directed at a multi-cut display-panel design enabling system integration into two or more end products. In aspects, a display panel includes a display panel body, having a pixel array and related electronics, as well as one or more border extensions disposed at least partially around a display border of the display panel body. The display panel further includes one or more cutting profiles to separate one or more borders extensions (or no border extensions) for integration in differently sized mounting structures of various electrical devices. Through these systems and techniques, a single display panel with a multi-cut design can be manufactured for integration within dissimilarly shaped electronic devices, saving costs associated with conventional manufacturing techniques, improving electronic device reliability, and antenna performance.

Abstract: This document describes foldable display support systems for thinner computing devices and improved user experience. In aspects, a device includes a foldable display coupled to the foldable display support system. The foldable display includes one or more primary folding regions of a first folding radius and one or more secondary folding regions of a second folding radius different than the first folding radius. The foldable display support system includes a support plate coupled to at least one other support plate by an adhesive layer. The support plate includes one or more flexible regions that correspond to the one or more primary folding regions of the foldable display, and the at least one other support plate includes one or more flexible regions that correspond to the one or more secondary folding regions of the foldable display. The flexible regions are configured to enable a consistent foldable display shape, which enables thinner foldable devices, improved robustness and waviness, and, thus, improved user experience.
