Abstract: A power integrated system includes a gas storage unit, a gas driven generator, a power bus, a drilling rig, oil/gas production equipment, and a gas reformer. The gas storage unit is used for storing natural gas. The gas driven generator is used for generating electric power based on the stored natural gas. The power bus is used for receiving the electric power generated by the gas driven generator. The drilling rig is used for being driven by the electric power from the power bus. The oil/gas production equipment is used for being driven by the electric power from the power bus and for generating associated gas. The gas reformer is used for reforming the associated gas and supplying the reformed gas to the gas storage unit.

Abstract: A power generation system including a gasifier for receiving and converting coal-water slurry to a fuel stream, and a quench device for cooling the fuel stream to generate a cooled down fuel stream. The quench device includes a water quench ring, which is able to spray water to cool the fuel stream passing therethrough. The system further includes a separating device, which includes a separator and a high temperature filter for removing rough and fine particles from the cooled down fuel stream respectively, an expander for receiving and utilizing energy in the fuel stream with solids removed to generate power, during which temperature and pressure of the fuel stream drop and an expanded fuel stream is generated, an acid gas removal unit for removing acid gases from the expanded fuel stream, and a gas turbine combine cycle for generating power from the fuel stream with acid gases removed.

Abstract: A system and a method for producing liquefied natural gas are provided. The system includes a refrigeration loop system for providing a cold stream of refrigerant, a supersonic chiller for receiving and chilling a first gaseous natural gas stream to produce a liquefied natural gas liquid and separating the liquefied natural gas liquid from the first gaseous natural gas stream to obtain a second gaseous natural gas stream, and a cold box for receiving the cold stream of refrigerant and the second gaseous natural gas stream and cooling the second gaseous natural gas stream to obtain a liquefied natural gas by heat exchanging between the second gaseous natural gas stream and the cold stream of refrigerant.

Abstract: In one aspect, a gasification system for use with low rank fuel is provided The system includes a pyrolysis unit positioned to receive a feed of low rank fuel, the pyrolysis unit being configured to pyrolyze the low rank fuel to produce pyrolysis gas and fixed carbon. The system also includes a gasifier configured to produce a syngas stream using the received fixed carbon, a cooler configured to receive and cool the syngas stream, and a first conduit coupled between the cooler and the pyrolysis unit. The first conduit is configured to recycle at least a portion of the syngas stream to the pyrolysis unit such that the recycled syngas stream is mixed with the pyrolysis gas to produce a hydrocarbon-rich syngas stream containing gasification by-products. The system also includes a by-product recovery system coupled to the pyrolysis unit for removing the gasification by-products from the hydrocarbon-rich syngas stream.

Abstract: A nitrogen oxide (NOx) abatement system is provided. The system includes a power generation device for generating power from a hydrogen-element containing fuel, an exhaust conduit in flow communication with an exhaust stream containing NOx which comes from the power generation device, a plasma reactor for reforming a portion of the hydrogen-element containing fuel with nitrogen to produce ammonia, and a NOx abatement reactor containing ammonia selective catalytic reduction (NH3-SCR) catalyst for receiving the exhaust stream and the ammonia and reducing NOx in the exhaust stream by causing the NOx to react with the ammonia to form nitrogen.
