摘要： A tool to hold objects by suction includes a glue free gasket structure on its handling surface. The gasket structure includes a gland formed below the handling surface having an approximate dovetail section with a narrow opening at the handling surface defining a suction area, and a gasket inserted in the gland. The gasket has a shoulder portion that conforms to the shoulder portion of the dovetail section of the gland, and a sealing lip protruding through the narrow opening at the handling surface. The gasket fits movably in the gland, and is self-aligning to compensate for variations in the space between the holding surface and the object being handled. This gasket structure is especially useful for devices to cool injection molded parts.
