    Abstract: In a case where power P_C supplied to CA during the image reading operation is normal power PN_C, in an AED operation of detecting irradiation start of X-rays, a control unit of an electronic cassette causes at least one of non-detection CAs other than a detection CA that is the charge amplifier connected to a detection channel of a detection pixel for irradiation start detection, among the plurality of CAs connected to a MUX to be in a power saving state in which the supply power P_C is lower than the normal power PN_C during the image reading operation.

    Abstract: A radiographic imaging apparatus includes a sensor substrate including a flexible base material, and an active area which is provided on a first surface of the base material and in which a plurality of pixels, which accumulate electrical charges generated in accordance with light converted from radiation, are formed; a conversion layer that is provided on the first surface side in the sensor substrate to convert radiation into the light; and a grid that is disposed on a second surface side opposite to the first surface of the base material and has a removal portion that has a mesh-like radiation absorbing member provided between a plurality of partitions in units of a predetermined number of pixels to remove scattered radiation according to the radiation.

    Abstract: A radiation detector and a radiological image radiographing apparatus capable of improving the quality of an obtained radiological image without causing an additional cost are provided. A first scintillator configured to include columnar crystals generating first light corresponding to a radiation emitted through a TFT substrate is laminated on the other surface of the TFT substrate that has a first photoelectric conversion element, which has one surface from which a radiation is emitted and the other surface from which at least one of the first light and the second light is emitted and which generates electric charges corresponding to the light, and a first switching element. A second scintillator which generates second light corresponding to a radiation emitted through the first scintillator and has different energy characteristics of absorbed radiations from the first scintillator is laminated on a surface of the first scintillator not facing the TFT substrate.
