摘要: The present invention makes available novel L-lysine excreting bacteria of the species Corynebacterium glutamicum, having the ability to excrete L-lysine, containing in their chromosome a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide having the activity of a malate:quinone reductase wherein the amino acid at position 228 of the amino acid sequence of the polypeptide contains any proteinogenic amino acid different from valine and a method for producing L-lysine using such bacteria.
