Provided herein is an infrared spectroscopy technique capable of performing spectroscopic analysis on infrared rays in a broad infrared range (including a near infrared range, a short infrared range, a mid-infrared range, a far infrared range, and an extreme infrared range). An apparatus and a method for spectroscopic analysis on infrared rays are provided, without using an image sensor having a limited response range, to generate a signal in which transmitted light for each wavelength passes through a plurality of filters having different transmittances for each wavelength and is spatially pattern-coded, restore the signal into an infrared transmittance image, discriminate a wavelength according to a transmittance of the filter from the infrared transmittance image, calculate an intensity of the light for each wavelength, and output infrared spectrum information.
Abstract:
Optical data is collected from an optical sensor of a dual wavelength, and in order to detect the fire from the collected optical data, an average value of a first wavelength, an average value of a second wavelength, and a ratio of the average values of the two wavelengths are calculated, and an amount of change of a slope of the ratio is used to detect the fire and determine the fire occurrence time. From the determined fire occurrence time, fire features are extracted from the optical data in real time according to defined rules to configure a data set. The data set may be used for learning and inference techniques to identify a fire or non-fire, a fire source, a combustion material, and the like.

Disclosed herein are a tag transmission apparatus and a signal transmitting method thereof. The tag transmission apparatus converts a plurality of data bits into a symbol, which is one of a plurality of symbols, and multiplies the converted symbol by a square-wave having a predetermined frequency to thereby generate a subcarrier signal. Here, in the case in which the plurality of data bits are n (n is a natural number larger than 2) bits, the number of the plurality of symbols is 2n.

Provided is a Raman scattering measurement apparatus including a light source which emits light to smoke particles, a filter configured to block light which is incident to the smoke particles and passes through the particle and to allow Raman scattered light to pass therethrough, and a photodetector which detects the Raman scattered light passing through the filter in order to distinguish fire smoke generated due to a true fire from non-fire smoke generated due to daily life or industrial activity. The present invention also provides a fire determination apparatus including a unit which reads a Raman shift from Raman scattered light detected by the photodetector of the Raman scattering measurement apparatus, estimates a smoke component from the read Raman shift, and determines fire/non-fire from the estimated smoke component and a method thereof.

A radio frequency identification (RFID) technology which overcomes a cross-reading problem by using visible light recognition and identification values. An RFID reader terminal includes a visible light transmitter configured to transmit a visible light signal including an identification value of the RFID reader terminal, a radio frequency (RF) receiver configured to receive an RF signal including an identification value of an RFID tag terminal and information of the RFID tag terminal from the RFID tag terminal, and a reader controller configured to determine whether the identification value of the RFID reader terminal is identical to the identification value of the RFID tag terminal. In addition, there is provided an RFID tag terminal corresponding to the RFID reader terminal.

The RFID reader performs a single tag authentication procedure, which is a procedure of one-to-one accessing one RFID tag, in the case in which the field is set to the single tag accessing mode.

The transmission leakage signal offset apparatus may include a signal divider to divide a received signal of the RFID reader, the received signal including a transmission leakage signal, and to transmit the divided received signal to a signal combiner and an injection locked oscillator (ILO); a signal synchronizer to synchronize a phase of the ILO with a phase of the transmission leakage signal; a phase controller to control a phase difference between the received signal of the RFID reader and an output signal of the ILO; and a signal combiner to combine the received signal of the RFID reader and the output signal of the ILO, between which the phase difference is controlled.
