Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for generating a digital surface model using satellite imagery. The method includes correcting a geometric error in input satellite images, generating one or more depth maps using a stereo matching method based on the corrected satellite images, and generating a digital surface model by combining the generated depth maps and by estimating a height value for each location on the ground surface.

A 3D multifunctional device in which a 3D printer and a 3D scanner are combined and a method for operating the device. The 3D multifunctional device includes a printing unit that includes a nozzle for ejecting material for 3D printing, a scanning unit that includes a light radiation module for radiating light to an object to be scanned and a camera for capturing an image of the object, a head unit for moving the printing unit and the scanning unit in X-axis and Y-axis directions, a bed plate on which the object to be scanned is located or the ejected material is deposited, the bed plate moving in a Z-axis direction, and a control unit for setting a function by selecting 3D scanning or 3D printing, controlling the scanning unit or the printing unit, and controlling the movements of the head unit and bed plate.

Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for reconstructing a 3D model. The apparatus for reconstructing a 3D model includes an image acquisition unit for acquiring multi-view images by receiving image signals captured by multiple drones using cameras, a geometric calibration unit for estimating motion variables of the drones based on the acquired multi-view images, and a 3D model creation unit for reconstructing a 3D model of a dynamic object from the matched multi-view images using a multi-view stereo method.

The apparatus for managing a teeth model includes a database for storing a 3D intraoral structure image and a 3D teeth model image generated by scanning a healthy intraoral structure and teeth of a user; a generation unit for generating a damaged tooth model image by scanning a damaged tooth when the tooth of the user is damaged; and a modeling unit for modeling any one of a dental prosthesis and an artificial tooth by comparing the damaged tooth model image and the image stored in the database.

The apparatus for creating a block-type structure includes a voxel modeling unit for modeling a sketch, input via an interface, into a three-dimensional (3D) voxel model, a block-type structure creation unit for modeling the 3D voxel model into a block-type structure into which blocks stored in a block database are assembled, based on the stored blocks, and a control unit for performing feedback for a procedure for modeling the block-type structure, based on the interaction of a user using the interface.

An apparatus and method for modeling a cultural heritage building, which may intuitively model a 3D digital cultural heritage building while exhibiting the characteristics of the 3D digital cultural heritage building, through the use of a touch screen UI on a smart mobile device in a place where it is difficult to use a PC or existing software. The disclosed apparatus includes a measured drawing arrangement unit for displaying, on a touch screen, measured drawings that include information about members constituting a cultural heritage building, a member model generation unit for performing modeling based on multiple points input via the touch screen, thus generating 3D member models, a database for storing the member models generated by the member model generation unit, and a member arrangement unit for arranging each of the stored member models at an original location thereof based on the measured drawings.

The method for providing a wide-area precision agriculture service based on collaboration between heterogeneous drones includes transferring first mission information including photography of an entirety of arable land to a fixed-wing drone, receiving first drone data corresponding to the first mission information from the fixed-wing drone, and analyzing the entire agricultural arable land based on the first drone data, and transferring detailed mission information generated based on a result of analysis of the entire agricultural arable land to at least one rotary-wing drone.

The transmission unit transmits a signal. The reception unit receives a signal that is reflected and enters therein after the signal has been transmitted by the transmission unit. The calculation unit calculates touch location information based on the transmission signal of the transmission unit and the reception signal of the reception unit. Disclosed herein is an apparatus and method for interaction between content and an olfactory recognition device. In the method for interaction between an olfactory recognition device and a content device, the method allows the olfactory recognition device to interact with the content device. If a connection to the content device has been made to enable data communication with the content device, an open signal is transmitted to the content device. As a response to the open signal, an approval signal is received from the content device. A device information datasheet that is information about the olfactory recognition device is transmitted to the content device in response to the approval signal. An acknowledgement signal is received from the content device.
