摘要: A closure for a chain entry aperture in which two or more seal blocks of a suitable elastomeric material are slidable between a position in which the aperture is open, and a position in which the seal blocks cooperate to close the aperture and seal around a chain extending through the aperture. Contact surfaces of the seal blocks are shaped to accommodate the chain passing through the aperture when the seal blocks are in the closed position.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed generally to automated trailer door systems for use at vehicle loading docks. At least a portion of the trailer door system can be externally driven for opening and closing trailer doors at the loading dock. The automated trailer door system can include a counterbalance shaft that moves the trailer door between a closed position and an open position; and a drive unit having a torsion member operably coupled to the counterbalance shaft; and a drive member rotatably engaged with the torsion member, the drive member having an engagement portion accessible external to the trailer door. Rotation of the drive member via the engagement portion can rotate the torsion member to move the trailer door between the closed and open positions. A door winder can be coupled to a centering body and have a motor to rotate the drive member via the engagement portion.

摘要: A dock leveler frame includes a pit supported portion; a deck supporting portion configured to provide support to a deck portion of the dock leveler; and a fastener configured to contact corresponding structure on the pit supported portion and deck supporting portion, the corresponding structure configured to allow the pit supported portion and deck supporting portion to be fastened to each other via the fastener at multiple positions with respect to each other. A method of configuring a dock leveler frame to install a dock leveler in a pit and have a level deck without the use of shims includes: providing a pit supported portion of a dock lever frame; placing a deck supporting portion of the frame is a desired position with respect to the pit supported portion; and fastening the pit supported portion to the deck supporting portion with a fastener inserted into a hole and a slot.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed generally to powered trailer systems and, more particularly, to powered trailer systems for opening and closing trailer doors at, e.g., a vehicle loading dock, and to vehicle and/or trailer power delivery and charging systems. A powered trailer door operating system can include a guide track having a lower guide track portion and an upper guide track portion; a drive support coupled to the upper guide track portion having a drive shaft positioned within a central cavity; and a carriage slidingly coupled to the drive support and operably coupled to the trailer door. The carriage can be operably engaged with the drive shaft through the slot such that rotation of the drive shaft causes the carriage to translate along the drive support, thereby moving the trailer door between the open and closed positions.

摘要: A dock leveler support frame includes an upper frame member and a substantially vertical frame member connected thereto. The substantially vertical frame member includes both a structural member and a height-adjusting leg assembly. The leg assembly is adjustable via a drive member proximate the upper frame member. Rotating the drive member raises or lowers the upper frame member by altering the distance between the upper frame member and a foot at the lower end of the leg assembly. Ramp attachment points are also provided proximate the upper frame member. The support frame is installed by placing it in a pit with the upper frame member adjacent the curb, and adjusting the leg assembly to level the upper frame member to the curb. Once level, the back frame is secured to the dock, and the drive member may be secured to the upper frame member to prevent counter-rotation.

摘要: A method of assembling a sectional upward acting door comprising plural generally planar door panels adapted to be guided between opposed guide tracks. The door panels are provided with hinge assemblies including a hinge plate mounted on the upper edge of one door panel with a pin receiving bore and a cooperating hinge plate with a hinge pin formed thereon mounted on the lower edge of the adjacent panel. One panel may be placed between the guide tracks and suitably supported while the next panel is assembled to the already positioned panel by placing the next panel between the guide tracks and moving it vertically downward to engage the hinge plates on the respective panels. The cooperating hinge plates are configured for snap together engagement which may only be released by intentional manipulation of the hinge plate with the pin receiving bore.

摘要: A sectional garage door panel includes a skin part formed of a rolled metal sheet forming an outer wall and opposed top and bottom edges which may form a pinch resistant joint when adjacent panels are interconnected. Elongated prefabricated insulation parts are inserted in cavities formed by the top and bottom edges and a generally rectangular planar insulation part is insertable in a cavity formed between the top and bottom edges and between the first mentioned insulation parts. Channel shaped brackets are insertable in cavities formed by the top and bottom edges for reinforcing the skin part at a point of attachment of end stiles and hinge parts. A metal backer sheet forms an inner wall to protect the insulation parts. The brackets and one or more of the insulation parts may be secured to the skin part by an adhesive.
