Abstract:
An automatic bobbin winder includes a bobbin removal location; a bobbin transfer point; a bobbin conveyor belt for storing bobbins and transporting bobbins toward the bobbin removal location, the bobbin conveyor belt having an end at the bobbin transfer point; a travelling bobbin changer disposed below the bobbin conveyor belt for transporting individual bobbins; a bobbin transfer device at the bobbin transfer point being controlled by the bobbin changer for successively transferring bobbins from the bobbin changer to the bobbin conveyor belt; a device for advancing the bobbin conveyor belt by at least one bobbin width in a given storage direction prior to each bobbin transfer; and a device for initiating a priority transport run of the bobbin changer for transporting an individual bobbin to the transfer point after each bobbin transfer.
Abstract:
A strip casting system for aluminium and/or aluminium alloys comprising a casting furnace and a revolving chill mould having a casting gap. The revolving chill mould is designed as a roll pair, roller pair, caterpillar pair or belt pair. The strip casting system has an active means for transporting metal melt from the casting furnace to the casting gap and a casting region arranged in front of the casting gap. The casting region is delimited on one side by the revolving chill mould. A melt pool is formed in the casting region, from which metal melt flows or is drawn into the casting gap. The casting furnace is connected to the casting region by a pipe system with means for feeding the metal melt into the casting region, which can feed the metal melt to the casting region below the surface of the melt pool formed in the casting region.
Abstract:
An apparatus for transporting a coiler can from a sliver-producing fiber processing machine to a sliver-using fiber processing machine includes a transport carriage provided with wheels; a motor for propelling the transport carriage along a path of travel; and ground-supported rails for positively guiding the transport carriage along its path of travel.
Abstract:
An apparatus for transporting sliver cans between a sliver can handling location and a textile spinning machine includes a rod member having a plurality of uniformly spaced engaging members. A pair of preferably plastic, parallel sliding rails each extend parallel to the rod member on a respective side thereof for supporting the sliver cans for sliding movement therealong. The rod member is supported for axial and rotational movement and is operatively connected to a drive device which cyclically axially displaces the rod member by a uniform amount of travel corresponding to a uniform spacing between the sliver cans. The rod member is rotated 90.degree. to move the engaging members between horizontal disengage positions in which they are out of engagement with the sliver cans and vertical engage positions in which the engaging members project vertically for engaging the bottom rim portions of the sliver cans during axial displacement of the rod member. In one modification, the rod member is supported by a plurality of slide blocks each associated with a respective one of the engaging members and having a radial slot for permitting movement of the associated engaging member between its engage and disengage positions.
Abstract:
A method of exchanging empty cans with cans filled with sliver at a spinning machine having set locations for the cans wherein a mobile transport device is automatically driven along a floorlike travel path at the spinning machine includes placing empty cans on the travel path, successively placing filled cans entrained with the transport device automatically at set locations of the machine which are unoccupied, picking up the empty cans on the travel path automatically with the transport device, and driving the transport device automatically back to a loading station, when the transport device is too full to pick up any more cans, so as to surrender the empty cans and pick up filled cans at the loading station preparatory to driving the transport device back to the spinning machine.
Abstract:
A textile machine for producing cross-wound bobbins includes a bobbin conveyor belt disposed along the length of the textile machine for receiving and transporting finish wound bobbins away from the textile machine, a device for switching the bobbin conveyor belt on and off, and a controllable bobbin depositing device including a device for raising and lowering the bobbin depositing device and a device for temporarily storing a row of bobbins from the conveyor belt at a distance above the bobbin conveyor belt being greater than the height of the bobbins.

Abstract:
A message distribution apparatus and method for distribution of a message submitted by a user by a terminal connected to a communication network to a previously unknown group of receiving users has an access to a database which stores a semantic network data model with terms linked to each other by semantic relations and/or a social network data model with users linked to each other by social relations; a mapping engine which maps at least one term being associated with the submitted message to terms being associated with users of the social network data model and/or with terms of the semantic data model for generating a group of potential receiving users for the submitted message; and a distribution engine which distributes the submitted message of the submitting user via the communication network to a group of receiving users filtered from the at least one generated group of potential receiving users.
Abstract:
A method generates tag proposals for tagging of a content, wherein the generating of said tag proposals is performed by combining at least two tag proposing procedures in dependence of a work context of a user. The method can be applied with regard to each area where tagging of contents is desired. By use of the method an effective, computing resource saving, and/or flexible tagging is enabled, by which a sufficient number of tags with high quality can be identified.
Abstract:
A system for maintaining an integrity of a product of a predetermined product type comprising configurable product elements, wherein a product description data set which indicates an actual configuration of said product is checked by means of a semantic reference model of said product type as to whether a product component configured for a product element of said product is compatible.
