Disclosed herein are a feedback providing module, a feedback providing apparatus, and a feedback providing method. The feedback providing module includes: an upper plate part generating a vibration; a lower plate part inducing the vibration of the upper plate part; and a feedback controlling unit applying first to fourth voltages having different levels to the upper and the lower plate part in response to feedback control signals and varying the levels of the first to fourth voltages to control the upper and the lower plate part to generate at least one of a sound and a vibration.

A user input device and method thereof is provided. The user input device according to the present invention comprises a touch input module outputting a touch coordinate according to a touch input when there is the touch input on a touch screen region; a gesture input module outputting a gesture coordinate according to a gesture input when there is the gesture input on a predetermined spatial region corresponding to the touch screen; and a spatial convergence module adjusting at least one of the touch coordinate and the gesture coordinate based on a reference coordinate for a predetermined space by determining if the touch input and the gesture input are consecutive inputs based on the touch coordinate and the gesture coordinate.

Disclosed herein are an apparatus and method for providing a haptic effect using a sound effect. The apparatus includes an audio filter storage unit, an acquisition unit, an analysis unit, a message configuration unit, and a haptic output unit. The audio filter storage unit stores a plurality of adaptive audio filters. The acquisition unit obtains sound effects output by an electronic device in response to an application or a user input event. The analysis unit analyzes the frequency components of each of the sound effects. The message configuration unit detects at least one of the adaptive audio filters from the audio filter storage unit, and generates a haptic output message, corresponding to the sound effect. The haptic output unit outputs a haptic effect based on the haptic output message. The adaptive audio filter dynamically varies depending on the application or the user input event.
