Abstract:
A pressure and heat molded polymer tube, formed of miniscule polyethylene beads, each in the vicinity of 115 um powder in diameter, which when compression molded forms pores that are of uniform diameter throughout their length within the range of 5 um-10 um, the tube having an upper flange, that mates within a correspondently shaped grommet, which when applied to the transverse plate of an air filtration housing, functions to cleanse highly efficiently the dust particles and debris from the air being filtered, when passing through the filtration system, so that such purified air can be discharged safely.
Abstract:
A composite handle assembly has a primary handle bar having a proximal end portion and a distal end portion, the primary handle bar having a first offset bend and a second offset bend and a step portion between the offset bends, the distal end having a cored head portion and a retaining tab, a handle plate having a retaining slot for receiving the retaining tab, a lock lever member having a proximal end portion and a distal end portion, the lock lever member having a first offset bend, a second offset bend, and a step portion between the offset bends, and a pivotal connection for connecting the lock lever member within the primary handle
Abstract:
A hopper tee having a horizontal portion through which granular material is unloaded from a tank trailer or hopper car, the hopper tee integrally forms a vertical segment, that secures with the bottom of the hopper, to provide for unloading of granular material for usage or storage. The upper front portion of the tee, as it transitions from its vertical segment to the horizontal flow path has secured or cast therewith a ledge, that provides for accumulation of the unloading granular material therein, to function as a wear pad to resist against abrasion and accelerated wear out of the tee, at that location, during prolonged usage.
Abstract:
An unload elbow with spherical wear pocket is disclosed which comprises a body having an inlet end, an outlet end, and a spherical wear pocket formed near the outlet end. The spherical wear pocket is capable of trapping material that is being unloaded through the unload elbow to trap a portion of material being unloaded so that any other material being unloaded will contact the trapped material and not impact the wear pocket to prematurely wear out the unload elbow.
Abstract:
An improved disc for a butterfly valve having reduced structure within the bore of the valve, so as to minimize obstruction to the flow of granular material therethrough. Accelerated flow of granular material through the valve is obtained because of the thin dimensions of the butterfly valve. The modified disc includes upper and lower sockets, most of its structure is outside the perimeter of the disc. The disc may be of arcuate shape.

Abstract:
A valve handle for a bulk commodity hopper valve, the handle including an extended handle bar member, with a valve stem socket opening near its distal end, a shorter lock lever member positioned to extend the handle bar member, the members have various bends to provide clearance from interfering with the equipment to which the handle mounts, and a lock lever member having a lever tip that can enter into engagement, or release, with valve lock notches at the end of the handle bar member.
Abstract:
A pipe coupler for interconnecting pipes and components together, for transferring bulk and fluid materials, and useful for connecting sections of pipe-end-to-end. The coupler connects grooved pipe to ground pipe, smooth pipe to grooved pipe or smooth pipe to smooth pipe. Also tees, valves, and pipe sections can be secured together. The coupler has an adjustable bail that can be adjusted to assure a tight seal despite any wear. The coupler also eliminates any gaps that may trap material and lead to cross-contamination of subsequent loads.
Abstract:
A dust filtering and collection system for filtering dust particles from an incoming dust laden air stream is disclosed. When used in a mobile vacuum loading/unloading vehicle, the system separates dust particles from the incoming dust laden air stream in a dust filtering and collection canister or chamber and then exhausts the dust cleansed air stream from the canister or chamber. Dust particles filtered from the dust cleansed air stream are collected as accumulated product particles along a bottom area of the canister or chamber. The accumulated product particles may then be transferred to a storage chamber from which the incoming dust laden air stream has emanated. In addition, the dust filtering system of the present invention includes a plurality of juxtaposed hollow polymer tubes which are suspended and supported by a transverse panel extending across the canister or chamber adjacent an upper end thereof, with each hollow polymer tube being sealed relative to the transverse panel and having a porosity permitting air to be drawn therethrough while removing dust particles from the incoming dust laden air stream. The construction and arrangement of the hollow polymer tubes, within a dust filtering and collection canister or chamber, provides a highly efficient, continuously operating, self-cleaning filtering system, for use in mobile vacuum loading/unloading vehicles or in other industrial filtering systems.
