Abstract: A trajectory compensation apparatus is disclosed for use with a crossbow having a barrel, a trigger portion and a bow for use with an arrow, the arrow being shot traveling along a crossbow trajectory curve. The compensation apparatus comprises a rear sight mounted on the barrel at a location adjacent the trigger portion, and a forward sight is mounted on the barrel at a location adjacent the bow. A mechanism, operatively acting on the shot arrow, is provided for compensating for the trajectory curve, wherein, as the crossbow is aimed directly at a target, the arrow being shot from the bow will travel along the compensating mechanism at a predetermined upward angular orientation relative to the barrel. The arrow will then be released at a point above the target sight, thereby causing the arrow to drop onto the target at a point along the crossbow trajectory curve.

Abstract: A rotatable stock for a crossbow having a barrel and a pistol grip portion is disclosed. The stock comprises a body portion and a first end on the body portion adapted to butt against a user's shoulder. A second end on the body portion is spaced distally from the first end. The stock further comprises a mechanism, located at the second end, for rotatably connecting the stock to the barrel at an end adjacent the pistol grip portion, wherein, upon actuating the rotatable connecting mechanism, the stock may be selectively rotated between an open, first locked position and a closed, second locked position.

Abstract: A power-variable bow has a bow string and a single piece resilient bow limb having a width and a first and second outer end. A member has a nock end, with the member being removably attached to each of the bow limb first and second outer ends. The power-variable bow may further comprise a section, removably attachable to the bow limb, for increasing the amount of power imparted to an arrow by the bow. In a further embodiment of the bow, in place of the nock end member is a terminal end attached to each of the bow limb first and second outer ends, the terminal end having bow stringing cable grooves and bow string grooves. This embodiment may further be converted into a power-variable compound bow.

Abstract: A dispensing container for dispensing articles one at a time. The dispensing container includes a hollow body for storing articles. A delivery throat forming a continuous depending extension of the body has a cross section proximate the cross section of the articles disposed in the hollow body to serially align the articles passing therethrough from the hollow body. The throat is formed with an upturned end defining a lower trap portion adjacent the end which permits only one article at a time to be moved to the end of the throat. An outlet aperture is formed at the end of the throat. A closure member is mounted at the end of the throat for movement between a first position closing the outlet aperture and a second position opening the outlet aperture.
