    Abstract: A device and method for non-destructive testing of an object, such as a pipe, well casing, plane wing, rail track, weldment, bridge or manufactured part. A phased array of ultrasonic transducers moves relative to the part in one direction, while transmitting a steered wave in another direction to capture the texture from the object's surface. Diffuse and specular components of the received reflection signals are separated and beamformed for visualization. The object is then viewable as a 3D image with a texture map of the object's surface.

    Abstract: A bulkhead system for passing conductors between a high-pressure side and a low-pressure side. The bulkhead may be used in harsh environments to pass signals or power to sensors and actuators on one side and to sensitive electronics on the other side. The conductors run through and are bonded at sides to a body, which body is supported in the direction of the pressure differential and not highly supported in other directions.

    Abstract: A method for imaging a wellbore in a spiral wave imaging mode using a phased array ultrasonic radial imaging probe having an annular transducer array comprising a plurality of elements, the method comprising the steps of a) pulsing a first element in the transducer array that forms part of a first sequence of elements, b) pulsing a second element that forms part of the first sequence of elements, c) repeating steps a) and b) for each element in the first sequence with a time delay between steps a) and b), d) receiving signals for each element in the first sequence, e) applying time delays to the received signals to achieve virtual beamforming and form imaging data, f) repeating steps a) to e) for additional sequences of elements in the transducer array, and g) coherently summing the imaging data from each sequence to form a 3D image of the wellbore.
