    Abstract: A drone deployable power line fault detection sensor. The sensor can include a clamp mechanism having a clamp ring with first and second ring portions movably connected to each other and a resilient member positioned to urge the first and second ring portions toward a closed configuration. A latch can be positioned to retain the first and second ring portions in an open configuration whereby the sensor can be positioned on a power transmission line with a drone. A trigger can be coupled to the latch and operative, under the weight of the sensor, to disengage the latch thereby releasing the first and second ring portions to close around the transmission line under the force of the resilient member. One or more sensors are carried by the clamp mechanism and positioned to detect a line fault on the power transmission line, which is reported to a power station control system to de-energize the power transmission line.

    Abstract: Various arrangements for porting wireless network credentials, such as between television receivers, are presented herein. A remote control may be paired with a first television receiver, such as a host television receiver. Wireless network credentials may be provided to and stored by the paired remote control. The remote control can then be paired with a second television receiver, such as a client television receiver. The second television receiver can then receive the stored wireless network credentials from the remote control. The second television receiver can then connect with a wireless network using the received wireless network credentials, such as to communicate with the host television receiver or access the Internet.

    Abstract: Various arrangements for coordinating shared spectrum usage between fixed communication systems and flexible communication systems are provided. A network interference management system can detect signal interference events at satellite receivers configured to receive data from satellites utilizing predefined frequency bands. The network interference management system can determine a plurality of characteristics for the satellite receivers including a geographic location where the satellite receiver is located and an alignment for the satellite receiver. Based on the plurality of characteristics, an interference source can be identified and an indication of the signal interference event can be transmitted to the interference source by the network interference management system to cause the interference source to modify one or more operations.

    Abstract: A device for testing remote controls includes a main board, a data acquisition module (DAM), and one or more testing components. The main board communicates a testing instruction to the testing components which, then provide stimuli to a remote under test (RUT). The DAM receives, from the testing components, result data indicative of reaction(s) by the RUT to the stimuli. At least one of the stimuli is provided to the RUT and the result data is received by the DAM from the testing components. A first testing component provides a first stimuli to the RUT substantially simultaneously with a second testing component providing a second stimuli to the RUT. The first stimuli may include an acceleration of the RUT and the second stimuli may emulate a user action. The emulated user action emulates a button press, a button release, an audible input, and a touch screen action.

    Abstract: A drone deployable power line fault detection sensor.
