Abstract: A shutter device includes a frame member, a plurality of blades, an actuator device, and an auxiliary member. The frame member is formed in a casing shape, and air introduced from a front opening of the vehicle flows through an inside passage of the frame member. The blades are supported by the frame member in a rotatable manner, and open and close space within a casing of the frame member. The actuator device opens and closes the blades. Auxiliary member is assembled to the frame member to assist a blades supporting function of the frame member.

Abstract: A shutter device includes a frame, an opening-closing portion, and a protrusion. The frame is disposed between a first heat exchanger and a second heat exchanger and defines an inner space through which air introduced from a grill opening of a vehicle flows in an airflow direction. Each of the first heat exchanger and a second heat exchanger has a core and a remaining portion other than the core. The opening-closing portion is configured to selectively open and close the inner space of the frame. The protrusion protrudes, in a direction parallel to the airflow direction, from the frame toward the remaining portion of at least one of the first heat exchanger or the second heat exchanger.

Abstract: A cooling system for a vehicle includes a heat exchanger unit which cools a heat medium by heat exchange with air, a fan which sends air to flow through the heat exchanger unit, and a shutter which switches between an opening and a closing of a pathway through which air flows from an outside toward the heat exchanger unit. A control unit controls operations of the fan and the shutter, an index acquisition unit acquires a heat radiation index showing a magnitude of a radiation amount required in the heat exchanger unit, and a fixing determination unit determines whether the shutter is closed and fixed. The control unit performs a control in which the fan is driven while the shutter is closed, when the heat radiation index is equal to or lower than a predetermined threshold.

Abstract: The shutter device has a blade and a frame member which supports the blade in a rotatable manner. The device has a shaft arranged along the frame member, an actuator device for rotating the shaft, and a link member which opens and closes the blade by transmitting a rotational force of the shaft to the blade. The device has a calibration structure having a calibration member formed on the shaft and a calibration surface formed on the frame member. The calibration structure calibrates a rotational position of the shaft by coming into contact with the calibration member onto the calibration surface. The device further has a discharge structure which discharges foreign matters existing between the calibration member of the shaft and the calibration surface of the frame member.

Abstract: A shutter device includes fins made of a plurality of plate-shaped members. Each of the fins is configured to switch between a state of blocking an air flow and a state of not blocking the air flow, a frame is configured to rotatably support the fins, and a link member is configured to transmit a driving force to each of the fins to operate the fins. Each of the fins is provided with a support protrusion rotatably supported by the frame, and a driving protrusion rotatably supported by the link member. A plurality of supporting grooves that accommodate the support protrusions therein are formed in the frame to recess along a predetermined direction. The link member prevents the support protrusion from being removed from the supporting groove.

Abstract: A blower has a blower fan and a half shroud. The blower fan supplies air to a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger has a core that performs a heat exchange between a heat medium and the air. The half shroud covers a part of the core and defines an air passage extending from the heat exchanger to the blower fan. A blocking plate is disposed in a non-overlapping portion in which the half shroud and the core are located not to overlap with each other. The blocking plate prevents the air, which is blown by the blower fan, from flowing into an upstream area of the blower fan in a flow direction of the air through the non-overlapping portion.
