    Abstract: An imaging device installed inside a windshield of a vehicle, capturing images from ahead of the vehicle is provided. The imaging device includes a housing, a lens, an imaging device and a processing board. The housing includes a first portion, facing the windshield, and a second portion located opposite to the first portion. The first portion has a first outer surface as an outer surface thereof, and the second portion has a second outer surface as an outer surface thereof. The first outer surface has a light reflectance which is larger than a light reflectance of the second outer surface. The processing board is provided in the housing, and the processing circuit is provided on the processing board, facing the second portion only.

    Abstract: In an electronic control apparatus, a processing unit is configured to perform processing on one or more targets. A communication unit is configured to communicate with a communication device using a predetermined communication protocol to accordingly receive a first startup signal for startup of the processing unit from the communication device. The communication unit is configured to output, in response to receiving the first startup signal from the communication device, a second startup signal for startup of the processing unit. A voltage controller is configured to supply, in response to receiving one of the second startup signal and a third startup signal for startup of the processing unit outputted from an external device, a startup voltage based on a power voltage to the processing unit to accordingly start up the processing unit.

    Abstract: An in-vehicle communication system includes communication lines connecting ECUs together in the form of a daisy chain, has a maximum transferable data length of 64 bytes or more, and selects a speed of data transfer from one of a plurality of transmission speeds more than or equal to 2 Mbps. Each ECU includes a substrate-side connector with surface-mounted connector pins. The connector pins include a first connector pin pair and a second connector pin pair. The first connector pin pair has leads whose lengths equal to each other. The second connector pin pair has leads whose lengths are equal to each other and different from those of the second connector pin pair. This minimizes the distortion of waveform of signals when the signals are transmitted at a speed higher than that in a high-speed CAN, thereby enables the number of nodes to be increased.
