Abstract: An orientation detection device obtains a detection information of a sensor that detects a displacement in the vertical direction occurring in the vehicle, computes a pitch angle of the vehicle on the basis of the detection information, obtains a gradient information indicating a gradient of a road on which the vehicle travels, and corrects a correlation between the detection information used in computation and the pitch angle on the basis of the gradient information.

Abstract: A vehicle display control device controls display performed by a head-up display for a vehicle. The head-up display is configured to project an image on a projection member to cause a virtual image to be displayed in superimposed relation on a front view of the vehicle. The vehicle display control device determines a host vehicle situation as a road structure of a road on which a host vehicle is running, and controls to limit or not to limit a superimposed display of the virtual image with respect to a target object on which the virtual image is to be displayed in superimposed relation according to the host vehicle situation determined.

Abstract: A display control device controls display of a virtual image which is superimposed on foreground of a vehicle by projection of a display light image from an optical unit to a projection area. The display control device sets a projection position of the display light image which is projected in the projection area on the basis of a relative position of a superimposition object on which the virtual image is superimposed, obtains a measurement information from one vehicle height sensor measuring a displacement in a vertical direction occurring in the vehicle, obtains a gradient information indicating a gradient of a road on which the vehicle travels on the basis of three-dimensional map data, and corrects the projection position of the display light image on the basis of the measurement information and the gradient information.

Abstract: A virtual image display device that displays a virtual image by projecting a display light image to a projection area of a vehicle, includes: a low-frequency information acquisition portion that acquires attitude change information of the vehicle at a low-frequency band; a high-frequency information acquisition portion that acquires attitude change information of the vehicle at a high-frequency band; an image renderer that renders image data of the display light image corrected to reduce misalignment attributed to the attitude change at the low-frequency band; a projection optical unit that includes a display surface to display an original image based on the image data, and projects light of the original image as the display light image; and a display controller that displaces the original image to reduce the misalignment of the virtual image attributed to the attitude change at the high-frequency band.
