    摘要： A crop harvesting machine having a mobile main frame with a header subframe suspended therefrom, the subframe having a transverse cutter bar mounted forwardly thereon for cutting a swath of crop material as the machine is advanced forwardly through a field, an upper and lower pair of crop conditioning rolls for conditioning the crop cut by the cutter bar and discharging it along a curved path extending rearwardly from the rolls in vertical spaced relation to the ground and thence downwardly to the ground, and a reel for directing standing crop into the cutter bar and transferring the swath of cut crop material from the cutter bar to the conditioning rolls. A pair of transversely spaced wheels support the main frame relative to the ground, the wheels being disposed rearwardly of and within the transverse extent of said conditioning rolls, and directly below and forwardly of the path of crop material discharged from the rolls, whereby in operation of the machine, crop material is discharged from the rolls directly over the wheels and thence to the ground at a point rearwardly thereof.

    摘要： A self-propelled windrower has a forwardly disposed transversely elongated header mounted on the main frame of the windrower for independent vertical adjustment of the opposite ends of the header. The position of the opposite ends of the header are respectively controlled by a pair of hydraulic cylinders operative between the main frame and the header at transversely spaced points, one of said cylinders being a master cylinder and the other being a slave cylinder. Both cylinders are simultaneously actuated through a first control valve, which controls the fluid pressure supplied to the master cylinder, so that the opposite ends of the header move in unison, while the header is tilted by actuating a second control valve, which adds or subtracts fluid from the slave cylinder only to raise or lower one side of the header relative to the other.

    摘要： An agricultural tractor has a drawbar with a vertical pin and a rearward PTO shaft a predetermined distance forward of the drawbar pin. A trailing PTO-driven implement has a fore-and-aft tongue and an input drive shaft connected to the tractor PTO shaft through a telescoping drive assembly, which includes front and rear universal joints. The implement tongue is connected to the drawbar through a hitch adapter which provides articulation between the tractor and the implement about a vertical axis rearwardly of the vertical drawbar pin, so that the vertical axis of articulation is equidistant from the two universal joints, providing constant speed in the implement drive shaft regardless of the degree of articulation between the tractor and implement.
