This process comprises reacting a H-functional starter substance (Si), a H-functional starter substance (Sx) and a H-functional starter substance (Sc) with one or more alkylene oxides in the presence of a double metal cyanide catalyst. The resultant polyoxyalkylene polyols (P) have a functionality of 2 to 8 and a hydroxyl number of 5 to 35 mg KOH/g polyol.
