摘要: In an electroporation reactor for continuously processing products in the form of pieces wherein a drum with carrier elements is rotatably supported in a housing of dielectric material in a process liquid through which the products are moved from an inlet to an outlet through a degasification zone, a reaction zone and a discharge zone at the bottom of the housing, a group of electrodes is arranged adjacent the treatment zone and a high voltage is supplied to the electrodes within not more than 3 μsec generating between the electrodes and the grounded drum a large potential difference for the electroporation of all the walls of the process pieces while passing through the reaction zone.

摘要: A latching mechanism adapted for use with an assembly within a passenger compartment of the vehicle. The latching mechanism includes an actuator pivotably mounted on the assembly, a biasing device coupled to the actuator, and a dampener coupled to the actuator. The actuator carries an engagement member that is disposed within a detent of a labyrinth when the assembly is closed. The dampener is also coupled to the assembly for retarding movement of the actuator, wherein upon a sudden impact affecting the assembly when closed, the dampener retards movement of the actuator for a predetermined time to enable the engagement member to remain disposed in the detent to keep the assembly closed.

摘要: The invention relates to electrophoretic immersion lacquering of objects, e.g. the bodies of automotive vehicles, wherein the object which is to be lacquered is immersed into lacquer immersion basin containing a lacquer fluid. An electric field is produced by the object in its capacity as an electrode with at least one counter electrode. In order to determine the thickness of the lacquer layer applied in said manner, the electric charge flowing through the object during the immersion lacquering process and the surface of the object exposed to the lacquer fluid are determined in order to determine the thickness of the lacquer layer therefrom. The thickness of the lacquer coating can thus be determined during the immersion lacquering process, resulting in fewer rejects.

摘要: The present invention relates to a process for removing acrylamide and/or melanoidin forming cellular ingredients from starchy plant material without enabling to remove a considerable amount of starch from the cells by washing, comprising the process steps of: providing the biological material, irreversible electroporation of the biological material, and obtaining plant material having a reduced amount of acrylamide and/or melanoidin forming cellular ingredients, the starch content of which is not enabled to be considerably reduced by washing as compared to the starting material. Furthermore, the present invention relates to plant material having a reduced of amount of acrylamide and/or melanoidin forming cellular ingredients producible by said process, to a nibble product, respectively a snack having a reduced content of acrylamide and/or melanoidins producible from said plant material, and to a device for producing the nibble product, respectively the snack comprising an electroporation reactor, a cutting equipment, optionally at least one dipping bath and a fryer or a drying device.
