摘要: A food product cutting apparatus that makes a substantially horizontal cut through food product being delivered in a substantially vertical direction. The food product is delivered to a cutting device through an internal passage of at least one feed member above the cutting device. A force is applied to the food product traveling downward through the internal passage so as to push the food product against a first wall of the feed member. The apparatus is configured to improve product flow by configuring the passage of the feed member to have a cross-sectional shape defined by two offset, overlapping diameters. The apparatus is also configured for improved safety by ensuring that the cutting device is properly secured before electrical power is available for driving the cutting device.

摘要: A jigsaw blade has an elongated body with a first and second end, a cutting edge and an opposing back edge. A plurality of teeth is formed on the cutting edge. The first tooth of the plurality of teeth is immediately adjacent the second end of the blade. The first tooth is raker tooth and has a rake face and a clearance face. The rake face and clearance face intersect to form a cutting edge of the first tooth. The second end defines a plunging nose. The second end includes a nose end surface that extends between the cutting edge and the back edge. The nose end surface is on an angle of about 35° with respect to a line defined by tips of the plurality of teeth. The nose end surface intersects the first tooth relief surface to form an angled cutting edge with a leading sharp point.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a reciprocating saw blade includes forming a plurality of teeth into coil stock, feeding the coil stock into a die set, locating at least one of the plurality of teeth on the coil stock in the die set, flattening a portion of said teeth on said coil stock in said die set; forming a first tooth and a first gullet of a reciprocating saw blade out of the flattened portion of the coil stock in the die set, and forming a reciprocating saw blade having a first tooth with a first gullet, the first gullet being enlarged with respect to remaining gullets of said plurality of gullets.

摘要: A reciprocating saw blade has a body with two ends and two edges. The first end is a shanking end to secure the blade with a reciprocating saw. The second end is a plunging end to enter into a workpiece. The first edge has a plurality of teeth and gullets. A second edge opposes the first edge. The plurality of teeth has a first tooth immediately adjacent the plunging end. The first tooth is a full tooth and is also a raker or unset tooth. The first gullet adjacent the first tooth has a size at least 1.5 times the gullet size of the remainder of the plurality of gullets.

摘要: Apparatus for cutting products, comprising: a base; a cutting head with at least one cutting element along the circumference of the cutting head for cutting products fed into the cutting head, the cutting head being rotatably fitted to the base; an impeller adapted for rotating concentrically within the cutting head to urge products fed into the cutting head towards the circumference of the cutting head by means of centrifugal force; a first drive mechanism for driving the rotation of the impeller at a first rotational speed setting the centrifugal force; and a second drive mechanism for driving the rotation of the cutting head at a second rotational speed, determined such with respect to the first rotational speed that the product is cut by the at least one cutting element at a predetermined cutting velocity.

摘要: A transverse food slicer includes a generally horizontal conveyor for advancing food products to be sliced to a vertical cutting wheel having radially mounted cutting blades thereon rotating in a cutting plane that transversely slice the conveyed food products. Between the end of the conveyor and the cutting plane, an inclined support surface is provided to stabilize relatively round food products advanced to the cutting plane by the conveyor. The inclined support surface may cooperate with cutting blades having thickness determining gauging surfaces thereon facing towards the conveyor.

摘要: An improved impeller for use in a rotary food slicing machine comprising a rear base plate and at least one forward ring secured in axial spaced parallel relation relative to the rear base plate and a plurality of circumferentially spaced planar paddles spanning the base plate and the forward ring. The paddles are each oriented to extend at an angle relative to the radius of the rear base plate and the at least one forward ring. Moreover, the end of each paddle located adjacent to the rear base plate is arranged in a partially trailing relationship relative to the end of the paddle located adjacent the at least one forward ring with respect to the intended direction of rotation of the impeller.
