Abstract: A system and method for processing medical images using order data associated with the medical images. Order data relating to a clinical request for a patient is identified. A current study of medical images can be associated with the order data. Relevancy matching rules are applied to medical image data to identify clinical software applications that are relevant for processing of the medical images. The relevancy matching rules include an order data rule that is applied to the order data associated with the medical image in order to provide additional context regarding the clinical reason for the medical images.
