摘要: A system is provided for operation with a facility providing peritoneal dialysis exchanges for multiple peritoneal dialysis patients. The system can include a peritoneal dialysis solution supply, peritoneal dialysis sets to deliver peritoneal dialysis solution to the peritoneal dialysis patients at the facility, a computer, and a treatment station. The computer can electronically read a prescription for a patient, electronically identify a quantity of the peritoneal dialysis solution from the prescription, and electronically identify a peritoneal dialysis set from the peritoneal dialysis sets for use with the identified quantity of the peritoneal dialysis solution. The treatment station can allow an identified peritoneal dialysis set to be fluidly connected to the peritoneal dialysis solution supply so that the identified quantity of the peritoneal dialysis solution may be metered from the dialysis solution supply to the patient to perform a peritoneal dialysis treatment at the facility and according to the prescription.

摘要: A system and method is provided to allow multiple patients to receive peritoneal dialysis treatment at a walk-in facility without having to keep fresh dialysis solution on hand themselves. The walk-in facility is enabled to receive a peritoneal dialysis prescription from a patient, verify the prescription, determine the appropriate treatment for the patient, provide the patient with the appropriate dialysis solution in the appropriate amount, and enable the patient to undergo a dialysis treatment at the facility. The walk-in facility can also be enabled to monitor the patient's home dialysis treatment and to adjust the patient's treatment at the facility accordingly. The facility can be enabled to produce dialysis solution on demand by manufacturing the solution from solution components according to a patient's prescription. Moreover, the facility can use a sorbent system to regenerate effluent dialysis solution into fresh dialysis solution.

摘要: A computer readable medium stores instructions configured to cause a home therapy machine to allow an at home patient selection of a device program from a plurality of device programs stored on the home therapy machine and perform an at home treatment using fluid flow equipment provided by the home therapy machine according to the selected device program. The instructions are further configured to receive data generated during the at home treatment and generate at least one log file based upon the received data.

摘要: A method for performing renal therapy at a home or dwelling of a patient using a renal therapy machine includes electronically retrieving a doctor's prescription for renal therapy and based on the doctor's prescription, enabling electronic selection of supplies, including a dialyzer, at a first location other than the patient's home or dwelling by a person other than the patient. The method further includes electronically initiating a sending of the supplies and the renal therapy machine to the patient's home or dwelling.

摘要: A dialysis system is disclosed. The dialysis system includes a water purification unit, at least one pump in fluid communication with the water purification unit, a first concentrate source for creating peritoneal dialysis fluid, a second concentrate source for creating blood treatment dialysis fluid, a blood filter for receiving the blood treatment dialysis fluid, and a control unit. The control unit controls the at least one pump to perform a peritoneal dialysis treatment by delivering, to a patient, peritoneal dialysis fluid that is mixed from the water and concentrate from the first concentrate source. The control unit also controls the at least one pump to perform a blood treatment by delivering, to the blood filter, blood treatment dialysis fluid that is mixed from the water and concentrate from the second concentrate source.

摘要: A home therapy machine is configured to perform a home therapy on a patient at a home or dwelling of the patient. The home therapy machine includes at least one processor operating a connectivity agent having an activated mode and a deactivated mode. When the connectivity agent is in the activated mode, the at least one processor is able to send data to and receive data from a system hub. When the connectivity agent is in the deactivated mode, the at least one processor is not able to send data to or receive data from the system hub. The home therapy machine further includes a user interface configured to receive a patient selection of a device program received from the system hub and at least one pump under control of the at least one processor for performing the home therapy according to the selected device program.
