Abstract: A communication device may cause a first wireless interface of the communication device to send a first signal in a case where a state of the communication device is a respondent state. The respondent state may be a state in which a Wi-Fi connection is able to be established between the communication device and a terminal device. The first signal may be sent from the first wireless interface before a Bluetooth connection is established between the communication device and a terminal device. The communication device may cause the first wireless interface to send a second signal in a case where a state of the communication device is a non-respondent state. The non-respondent state may be a state in which the Wi-Fi connection is not able to be established. The second signal may be sent from the first wireless interface before the Bluetooth connection is established.

Abstract: A function executing device is configured to send a wireless identifier to a communication device via a first type of wireless communication interface for setting up a wireless connection. The function executing device is configured to determine whether the function executing device is in an error state and, if not, to establish the wireless connection via a second type of wireless communication interface. The function executing device operates in a parent state in the wireless connection. Additionally, print data may be received from the communication device. However, if the function executing device is in an error state the wireless connection is not established via the second type of wireless communication interface.

Abstract: A communication device may establish a first wireless connection with a first external device, and receive target wireless setting information from the first external device by using the first wireless connection, the target wireless setting information being for participating as a child station in a target wireless network formed by a target access point different from the first external device. The communication device may control a display unit to display a predetermined screen for accepting a trigger operation, the trigger operation being a trigger of participation in the target wireless network, and establish a target wireless connection with the target access point by using the target wireless setting information so as to participate as the child station in the target wireless network, in a case where the trigger operation is accepted after the predetermined screen has been displayed.

Abstract: An MFP establishes a first communication link L1 by receiving an activation command and sending an OK command. The MFP receives first target data from a portable device by using the first communication link. The MFP generates second target data by processing the first target data. After receiving the first target data, the MFP disconnects the first communication link. The MFP establishes a second communication link by receiving the activation command and sending the OK command. The MFP sends the second target data to the portable device by using the second communication link.

Abstract: A communication device may shift an operation state from a first operation state to a second operation state in response to establishment of a first wireless connection via a first wireless interface with an external device. In the first operation state, a first response signal indicating that a WPS process is inexecutable is sent to the external device in a case where a first request signal is received from the external device, and in the second operation state, a second response signal indicating that the WPS process is executable is sent to the external device. The communication device may establish a second wireless connection via a second wireless interface with the external device by executing the WPS process, in a case where the first request signal is received from the external device via the second wireless interface after the operation state has been shifted to the second operation state.

In a case where the second value is set instead of the first value as the upper limit child station number, the communication device may establish a wireless connection with the first external device via the first wireless interface so as to cause the first external device to participate as a child station in the wireless network.
