Abstract: A wire seal assembly configured to seal a wire cable to a connector housing of an electrical connector includes a seal reinforcement device configured to be substantially rigid along a first axis. The wire seal assembly also has a compliant cable seal that is disposed within the seal reinforcement device and is in compressive contact with the wire cable. The wire seal assembly further incorporates a compliant housing seal axially that surrounds the seal reinforcement device. The housing seal is in compressive contact with the connector housing.

Abstract: A cable assembly includes coaxially arranged inner and outer barrels. The outer barrel overlaps a portion of the inner barrel. The inner and outer barrels respectively include first and second features that cooperate with one another to form a retention feature. The cable assembly has a cable that has at least one wire surrounded by an inner insulator that is covered in a metallic shield. The metallic shield is arranged in between the inner and outer barrels. The first feature is arranged beneath the metallic shield, and the second feature is arranged over the metallic shield. At least one of the first and second features extends in a radial direction relative to the other of the first and second features to capture the metallic shield with the retention feature.

Abstract: An electrical shielding member for a network connector includes a receiving portion for receiving a cable end of a shielded cable and a contact beam extending from the receiving portion. Abstract: An electrical connector includes an inner signal contact, an outer shielding contact, and a cover. The outer contact has a crimping portion including a first crimp wing and a second crimp wing that are bendable towards each other to attach the outer shielding contact to a cable such that ends of the first crimp wing and the second crimp wing extend towards each other when the outer shielding contact is attached to the cable. The cover is configured to cover a braid or a protective layer of the cable that is arranged underneath the ends of the crimp wings when the outer shielding contact is attached to the cable.
