摘要: A cable assembly includes coaxially arranged inner and outer barrels. The outer barrel overlaps a portion of the inner barrel. The inner and outer barrels respectively include first and second features that cooperate with one another to form a retention feature. The cable assembly has a cable that has at least one wire surrounded by an inner insulator that is covered in a metallic shield. The metallic shield is arranged in between the inner and outer barrels. The first feature is arranged beneath the metallic shield, and the second feature is arranged over the metallic shield. At least one of the first and second features extends in a radial direction relative to the other of the first and second features to capture the metallic shield with the retention feature.

摘要: A standard for near end crosstalk of a category 6A cable, including a registered jack 45 (RJ45), a clamp connected to the RJ45, a first attenuator and a second attenuator. The RJ45 includes a first signal twisted pair to transmit a first source signal and a second source signal, and a second signal twisted pair to transmit a third source signal and a fourth source signal. The clamp includes a first signal pair connector electrically connected to the first signal twisted pair, a second signal pair connector electrically connected to the second signal twisted pair, a first differential amplification circuit and a second differential amplification circuit. The first attenuator is electrically connected to the first signal pair connector. The second attenuator is electrically connected to the second signal pair connector. The second attenuator and the first attenuator are configured to detect the near end crosstalk.

摘要: An electrical plug connector for a cable has a compression sleeve and a stop element that is axially adjacent to and connected to the compression sleeve. The compression sleeve has an inner lateral surface thread that is screwable to an outer lateral surface thread of an outer conductor of the cable. The outer conductor is clampable between the compression sleeve and an axial end region of the stop element, and in an assembled state, a longitudinal axis of the compression sleeve, is tilted relative to a longitudinal axis of the stop element; or b) a normal vector of a plane spanned by an edge between an end face and an inner lateral surface of the stop element is rotated by orientation angle (φA) relative to the longitudinal axis of the compression sleeve; or c) the edge has a helical course in a longitudinal axis direction of the plug connector.

摘要: A coaxial cable-connector assembly includes a coaxial cable, a coaxial connector, and a rear body. The coaxial cable includes: an inner conductor; a dielectric layer circumferentially surrounding the inner conductor; an outer conductor circumferentially surrounding the dielectric layer, the outer conductor having an inner surface and an outer surface; and a jacket circumferentially surrounding the outer conductor. The coaxial connector includes: an inner contact electrically connected with the inner conductor; an outer connector body spaced apart from and circumferentially surrounding the inner contact, the outer connector body including a first securing feature; and a dielectric spacer interposed between the inner contact and the outer body. The rear body has a main section and a front collet with forwardly-extending fingers, the fingers engaging the outer surface of the outer conductor of the cable, the fingers including a second securing feature, wherein the second securing feature engages the first securing feature to maintain the outer connector body and the rear body in position on the cable.

摘要: Miniaturized electrical connector systems are disclosed herein. In exemplary aspects disclosed herein, the connector system includes a twinaxial female connector having a housing and at least one dielectric positioned therein. The at least one dielectric defines two parallel channels configured to receive at least a portion of two conductors of a twinaxial cable. The twinaxial female connector includes an oval interface configured to orient and align the conductors of the twinaxial cable with mating pins of a male connector. The twinaxial female connector further includes two spring-type interconnects positioned within the oval interface, each configured to directly contact a conductor of the twinaxial cable and a mating pin of the male connector. The twinaxial female connector further includes a retaining clip attached to an exterior of the housing with a lever arm biased towards and pivotable from an engaged orientation. Such features reduce the manufacturing complexity, cost, and overall size.

The plug connector has a connector body, which includes an internal conductor contact element designed as a plug, socket, or coupling, for contacting with the internal conductor, an internal shield contact element provided for contacting with the first shielding conductor, and optionally an external shield contact element provided for contacting with the second shielding conductor. The connector body is configured such that the contact elements in the mounted condition of the plug connector are arranged on the cable such that a maximum diameter of the connector body is less than or equal to the outer diameter of the cable or only slightly larger than the outer diameter of the cable.

摘要: An RF Connector and grounding device therefor comprises a driver, a contact ring and a spring clamp having a split ring washer disposed therebetween. The split ring washer interposes the driver on one side of the washer and the contact ring on the other side thereof and defines an aperture for receiving a prepared end of a coaxial cable. The washer is connected to one side of an annular ring while a shouldered flange is disposed on the opposing side of the ring. Upon delivering a compressive clamping force to a compression cap, the split ring washer is captured between adjacent peaks or corrugations of the outer conductor.

摘要: A coaxial cable connector system, comprising a coaxial connector, a coaxial cable, and a universal coaxial cable fixing sleeve is provided. The universal coaxial cable fixing sleeve comprises a first gripping component, a second gripping component, and a third gripping component. When the coaxial cable is assembled to the universal coaxial cable fixing sleeve, the first gripping component grips a conductive shield of the cable, and the second and third gripping components grip a protective outer jacket of the cable, respectively. When the universal coaxial cable fixing sleeve is engaged to a first connector, a first housing outer surface thereof corresponds to and fixedly engages with a sleeve receiving inner surface of the first connector, and when disengaged and engaged to a second connector different in type from the first connector, no re-preparation of the cable is required for corresponding fixed engagement.
