Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for the anchoring in rigid ground such as decks or floors made of concrete, asphalt, rock etc., for support posts for safety barriers and parapets, by means of bolts partly embedded in the ground and fixed to same by chemical or mechanical means, whose emergent part successively traverses the anchor plate of the post of the barrier, one or more washers and closure nuts which are what fix the bolt to the anchor plate. The washers present the capacity to behave as fusible elements which, in the event of a vertical load due to traction greater than a defined value, are deformed and traversed by the closure nut which, once released from the washer, traverses the corresponding hole of the anchor plate, which is of a size greater than that of the closure nut, with the union between the plate and bolt thus becoming decoupled.
Abstract:
A rigid ram, joined to a structural element of a mechanism which receives and transmits the impact of a vehicle, is displaced along a deformable metallic profile of open section in the form of “U”, “C”, “Σ” or “Ω”, the ram having a partial or total intersection with the transversal section of the deformable metallic profile, and producing thereto plastic deformations which are propagated along the deformable metallic profile as the ram is longitudinally displaced along said deformable metallic profile.
Abstract:
High contention and energy absorption capacity system to contain vehicle's side impact configured by an anchoring plate, configured by a post having a base, a frontal plate and a base plate and said post affixed to the terrain at regular intervals, configured by two or more systems of continuous horizontal rails arranged longitudinally and attached to the post by a clamp placed in the inner side of the rail and also constituted by a separating device that is characterized by the post's leg to be comprised by two tubular profiles, mutually facing, the base plate of the post having frontal and lateral-rear openings that permit a certain controlled displacement of the post's leg, as a separating device between the post and the rail there is a shock-absorbing system having high energy capacity that serves to endow the system with a high capacity to absorb the energy resulting from the impact of a vehicle and allow it to be redirectioned.
Abstract:
Contention system for lateral impacts from vehicles, of the kind formed from a mixed metal and wooden horizontal continuous rail, comprising two or more wooden logs of equal cross-section, preferably rectangular, fitted with the same metal profile of cross-section preferably in the form of a “sigma” and longitudinally connected together by means of a metal plate, with the rail being supported at regular intervals by metal uprights inserted or secured into the ground, externally faced with a wooden cover consisting of three or more flat wooden strips, the rail being fixed to the posts by means of a metal distancer spacer by way of support, formed from a main piece in the form of an “omega” lying on its side which joins consecutive rails together via their ends and an interior U-piece which incorporates the star-shaped hole for the breakaway attachment between the support and the post, with a metal support plate between the front part of the wooden cover for the post and the central part of the metal support.

Abstract:
A mechanism for the absorption of the kinetic energy of a vehicle frontally impacting against a containment system, such as an impact attenuator or barrier terminal, by means of the longitudinal propagation of the plastic deformation of one or more longitudinal deformable metallic profiles produced by means of a rigid ram which is displaced along the deformable profile, intercepting part of its cross-section, joined to a structural element of the system which receives and transmits the impact of the vehicle being displaced along the containment system, the deformable profile being directly or indirectly fixed to the ground and therefore remaining static during the impact.
Abstract:
Metal roadway safety barrier formed by a series of horizontal rails, girders or fences (1) mounted on vertical posts (2) by means of a “breakable” joining mechanism (3) which provides said joint with the possibility of disengaging in a controlled manner when the level of the force transmitted thereto, following the impact of a vehicle, reaches a given value. The “breakable” joint is formed by a screw (3) which has along its shank, at a certain distance from its head, a cross-section of lesser mechanical strength. In an alternative embodiment, the “breakable” joint is formed by means of a “breakable” washer.

Abstract:
Deformable separator device for road safety barrier for vehicle impact of the type used between a vertical securing-support element or post and a horizontal impact element or railing, characterized in that the deformable separator (3) comprises two metallic pieces (5) and (6), in the form of a “U”, which are arranged so that their open faces are facing each other, assembled forming a single body, and with one piece being partially contained within the throat of the other piece and joined together by means of suitable fastening means via individual holes and in that the wings of the pieces are provided with guide-holes (11) (11′) at different heights in such a manner that they guide the bending of the separator element and which comprises a fusible fastening between the separator element and the post.
