    Abstract: In an exemplary flat display apparatus and control circuit and method for controlling the flat display apparatus, the flat display apparatus includes a plurality of gate driving units, each of which controls the operation of a scan line in the flat display apparatus. The flat display apparatus provides a first gate high level voltage signal and a second gate high level voltage signal to the gate driving units such that the first and second gate high level voltage signals are used as voltage signals transmitted to corresponding scan lines. The first and second gate high level voltage signals respectively include a falling edge with a slope. Duration time of the falling edge of the first gate high level voltage signal is longer than that of the falling edge of the second gate high level voltage signal.

    Abstract: A driving method for driving a display apparatus including a plurality of pixels, a plurality of data lines and a data driver. The data driver includes a first latch outputting a first sample data signal to a second latch, the second latch, a first charge sharing line and a second charge sharing line. The method includes performing a first charge sharing when a polarity of one of the pixels changes so as to output a first calibrated data signal to the data line electrically coupled to the pixel, and executing a second charge sharing when the most significant bit of the first sample data signal is different from the most significant bit of the second sample data signal so as to output a second adjusted data signal to the data line.

    Abstract: A data receiver includes a serial-data processing module, a null-frequency detecting unit, a data checking unit, a status control unit and a timeout checking unit. The serial-data processing module receives serial data, generates an operation clock, parallel data and required data, and determines whether the operation clock is correct for accordingly generating a first result. The null-frequency detecting unit receives the operation clock and determines whether the operation clock is locked or null for accordingly generating a second result. The data checking unit is enabled according to the first result and determines whether checking data of the required data is correct for accordingly generating a third result. The status control unit outputs a frequency-locked signal and changes the signal state of the frequency-locked signal according to the first to third results. The enabled timeout checking unit resets the serial-data processing module according to the signal state of the frequency-locked signal.
