Abstract:
Systems and methods for east-west traffic monitoring involve generating an east-west record based on a traffic interaction at a virtualized node and storing the east-west record using a record cache of a peripheral memory device associated with the virtualized node. The east-west record includes a source, a destination, a type, and a hypervisor identifier.
Abstract:
Systems and methods herein spawn action sets for networked communities which are executed based on detected triggers. A method that spawns action sets can include selecting a community including member devices. The member devices are associated with a distributed job. The method can also include identifying a trigger related to the distributed job and spawning an automated action set related to the trigger. The automated action set includes at least one of automated action by the member devices or automated action by a remote device communicatively coupled to at least one of the member devices.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for performing speaker verification. A system configured to practice the method receives a request to verify a speaker, generates a text challenge that is unique to the request, and, in response to the request, prompts the speaker to utter the text challenge. Then the system records a dynamic image feature of the speaker as the speaker utters the text challenge, and performs speaker verification based on the dynamic image feature and the text challenge. Recording the dynamic image feature of the speaker can include recording video of the speaker while speaking the text challenge. The dynamic feature can include a movement pattern of head, lips, mouth, eyes, and/or eyebrows of the speaker. The dynamic image feature can relate to phonetic content of the speaker speaking the challenge, speech prosody, and the speaker's facial expression responding to content of the challenge.
Abstract:
Speaker content generated in an audio conference is selectively and visually represented. A profile for each audience member who participates in the audio conference is obtained. Speaker content spoken during the audio conference is monitored. Different weights are applied to words included in the speaker content according to a parameter of the profile for each of the audience members. A relation between the speaker content to the profile for each of the audience members is determined. Visual representations of the speaker content are presented to selective members among the audience members based on the determined relation.
Abstract:
An interactive conference is supplemented based on terminology content. Terminology content from a plurality of devices connected to the interactive conference is monitored. A set of words from the terminology content is selected. Supplemental media content at an external source is identified based on the selected set of words, and selectively made available to a device connected to the interactive conference.
Abstract:
A data parking in an offline community system comprising a discovery module configured to identify at least one device that has gone offline due to an event, a community, the community including at least one data source, the data source including the identity of the at least one device; and a mobile aggregation device movable between a first position where the mobile aggregation device is in communication with a network to a second position to establish communication with the at least one device; wherein the mobile aggregation device is configured to aggregate data from the at least one device and store it until returning to the first position.
Abstract:
A data and context based role management system comprising: a community, the community including at least one data source having plural roles stored therein, the plural roles including an identity including at least one of a credential, a function, a capability, and a historic response data; a discovery module configured to identify an alert associated with an event requiring a response, the discovery module being further configured to search the community for a responder based on the event, wherein the discovery module is configured to compare a criteria based on the event to the identity associated with each of the plural roles to identify the responder; and when the responder is identified, the community promotes the responder to transform at least one device of the responder to provide at least access to data associated with the event.
Abstract:
An edge share orchestration system comprising: an opportunistic capability listener in communication with at least one customer device and at least one additional device; the opportunistic capability listener is configured to pool the at least one customer device and the at least one additional device based on at least one of a capability and a function; an edge share balancer configured to integrate the at least one customer device with the at least one additional device to transform the capability or function of the at least one customer device to provide at least one of a novel service and an augmented service.
Abstract:
Voice activity in a media signal is detected in an augmented, multi-tier classifier architecture. For instance, a first voice activity indicator, detected in a first modality for a human subject, is received from a first classifier. Then, the system can receive, from a second classifier, a second voice activity indicator detected in a second modality for the human subject, wherein the first voice activity indicator and the second voice activity indicators are based on the human subject at a same time, and wherein the first modality and the second modality are different. The system then concatenates, via a third classifier, the first voice activity indicator and the second voice activity indicator with original features of the human subject, to yield a classifier output, and determine voice activity based on the classifier output.
