Abstract: A series of orthodontic aligners may be produced by a process including receiving a first position of at least one tooth of a patient for a first treatment stage of plurality of orthodontic treatment stages, determining a movement vector magnitude and direction for moving the at least one tooth from the first position towards a second position, analyzing a surface of the at least one tooth of the patient based on the determined movement vector, designing a first orthodontic aligner of the series of orthodontic aligners based on the analysis of the surface of the at least one tooth of the patient so that a physical orthodontic aligner, when in position on teeth of the patient at the first treatment stage, moves the at least one tooth from the first position towards the second position along the determined movement vector, and fabricating the physical orthodontic aligner.

Abstract: Orthodontic treatment monitoring using intermediate devices. In one example, an orthodontic appliance case includes a near field communication (NFC) circuitry including a first antenna that is configured to receive data transmitted from a sensor module on an orthodontic appliance when the sensor module is within the orthodontic appliance case. The data may include information regarding when the orthodontic appliance was worn in a patient's mouth. The orthodontic appliance case may also include a data store configured to store the data, and a Bluetooth communication circuitry including a second antenna configured to transmit the data to an external computing device when the external computing device is within communication range of the second antenna.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to ornamental indicia carrier and method of producing the same. In some embodiments, the ornamental indicia carrier comprises an ultraviolet light (“UV”) cured ink printed on a thin flexible film and combined with an adhesive layer. Abstract: The present invention provides methods and systems including orthodontic tooth positioning appliances. An exemplary appliance can include teeth receiving cavities shaped such that, when worn by a patient, repositioning the patient's teeth from a first arrangement toward a subsequent or target arrangement. Appliances can include a cavity having one or more shaped features or protrusions shaped and/or positioned so as to apply a desired force to a patient's tooth received in the cavity and move the tooth along a desired path or direction.
