Abstract:
A light head structure with adjustable focal length and a lighting device thereof. The light head structure includes a base, a threaded collar and a soft lens. The threaded collar has an assembling section, a receiving space for receiving the base therein and a protrusion section formed on an inner circumference of the threaded collar. The base has a recess for receiving a light-emitting element therein and an outer connection section for movably assembling with the assembling section. The soft lens has a focusing section in alignment with the light-emitting element. The focusing section has an extension section. The protrusion section of the threaded collar abuts against the extension section to attach the extension section to the outer circumference of the base. The thickness of the soft lens is adjustable to change the focal length and enhance the illumination. The lighting device can be easily manufactured to lower manufacturing cost.
Abstract:
A heat dissipation mechanism for LED lamp includes an LED module, a lamp holder, a thermal module, a heat transfer member, and a lamp shade. The thermal module includes a heat sink and a fan; the fan is connected at one side to the heat sink and at another side to the lamp holder. The heat transfer member is arranged between the LED module and the heat sink. The lamp shade has an open end connected to an outer periphery of the lamp holder; and the LED module, the thermal module, and the heat transfer member are received in a space defined in the lamp shade. The heat transfer member absorbs heat generated by the LED module and uniformly spreads the absorbed heat to the heat sink for dissipating into ambient air, so that an excellent heat dissipation effect can be achieved.

A media content distribution system for distributed multimedia streaming communicates over a network and incorporates multiple independent media stations, each having a media director for control and a number of media engines for storage, retrieval and streaming of media content. A content request from a media console connected to the network is redirected by the media director to a selected one of the media engines storing content corresponding to the request for streaming. Statistical indicators are defined for measuring effectiveness of the content distribution network. Push and pull indicators with additional differentiation for remote and local access to pulled content provide means for efficiency determination of data distribution and storage. A middleware Application Programming Interface (API) structure is provided for flexible interfacing between media consoles and content distribution system components.

A digital pathology system has a central workflow server hosting digital pathology application services and supporting one or more pathology workstations. The digital pathology system may include one or more image servers, providing digital images of sample specimen slides that are associated with medical cases. Residing at and executing on each pathology workstation is a digital pathology application client, which is the counterpart of digital pathology application services at the central workflow server. The combination of digital pathology application services at the central workflow server and digital pathology application client at each pathology workstation support a pathology workflow software module and a slide viewer software module. The present disclosure also describes a method of operation and/or use of the digital pathology system.

A method for caching of stream data is accomplished by assigning for each video segment in the system a likelihood rating of future showing and then determining for each node that contains a copy of the segment a second likelihood value that reflecting a probability that the node will be used to serve streams for the segment. The future cost value of a segment copy is then predicted and preload orders are issued to nodes for segments with the per-copy likelihood above a predefined threshold.

The present invention relates to a novel CK&agr;-4 protein which is a member of the CXC chemokine family. In particular, isolated nucleic acid molecules are provided encoding the human CK&agr;-4 protein. CK&agr;-4 polypeptides are also provided as are vectors, host cells and recombinant methods for producing the same. The invention further relates to screening methods for identifying agonists and antagonists of CK&agr;-4 activity. Also provided are diagnostic methods for detecting immune system-related disorders and therapeutic methods for treating immune system-related disorders.

The present invention relates to dosing regimens of an anti-TIGIT antibody useful for the treatment of cancer. In particular, the invention relates to the dosing regimen in a combination therapy which comprises administering an antibody of a Programmed Death 1 protein (PD-1) or Programmed Death Ligand 1 (PD-L1) and an anti-TIGIT antibody.
