Abstract:
Disclosed is a rechargeable lithium ion battery including a positive electrode comprising a first current collector and a positive active material layer on the first current collector; a negative electrode comprising a second current collector and a negative active material layer on the second current collector; and an electrolyte comprising a non-aqueous organic solvent and a lithium salt. At least one of the first and the second current collectors includes a rigid polymer film with a metal deposited on the rigid polymer film.
Abstract:
A fuel cell system that includes a stack includes a plurality of generators for producing electrical energy by an electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen. The generators are connected in series. In addition, the fuel cell system comprises a fuel supply assembly for supplying fuel comprising hydrogen to the generators, an oxygen supply assembly for supplying oxygen to the generators and at least one branch member that is coupled to at least one of the generators.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a glove for absorbing shock. The glove includes a glove body, and a shock absorbing member embedded in the glove body and made of a flexible material. The shock absorbing member includes cells partitioned by a cell wall and two-dimensionally arranged to absorb shock through buckling deformation of the cell wall. The glove has excellent buffering performance by absorbing vibration or shock based not only on material characteristics of the shock absorbing member but also on structural characteristics thereof, and improves efficiency in absorption of vibration or shock by increasing the degree of shrinkage or restoring force of the shock absorbing member, so that the glove can efficiently protect a user from shock.
Abstract:
A fuel cell system comprising a stack including at least one electricity generator for generating electric energy through a reaction between fuel and oxygen, a fuel supply unit for supplying the fuel to the electricity generator, and an oxygen supply unit for supplying the oxygen to the electricity generator is provided. The electricity generator includes a membrane-electrode assembly and separators which have a plurality of flow channels for passing fuel and oxygen and which are placed on both surfaces of the membrane-electrode assembly. The separators include a connecting portion with a straight part between rounded corners for coupling the flow channels at their ends. The connecting portion minimizes turbulence in the flow while maintaining sufficient effective area for contact between the fuel and oxygen with the active area of the membrane-electrode assembly.
Abstract:
A rechargeable lithium battery includes a positive electrode having a positive active material to reversibly intercalate and deintercalate lithium ions, a negative electrode having a negative active material, and an electrolyte, wherein an arithmetic mean Ra of a surface roughness of the positive electrode is 155 to 419 nm, and an arithmetic mean Ra of a surface roughness of the negative electrode is 183 to 1159 nm after the rechargeable lithium battery is charged and discharged.
