摘要: A data processing apparatus includes an operation unit, a writable and readable volatile register, a writable and readable nonvolatile memory, first and second writing units and a write-back unit. The operation unit performs an arithmetic operation and a logical operation. The writable and readable volatile register stores data used in the operations performed by the operation unit. The writable and readable nonvolatile memory stores the data in parallel with the volatile register. The data stored in the nonvolatile memory is the data stored in the volatile register. The first writing unit writes the data in the volatile register. The second writing unit writes the data in the nonvolatile memory in parallel with the first writing unit every time the data is written in the volatile register. The write-back unit writes back the data stored in the nonvolatile memory to the volatile register when a power supply is turned on.

摘要: The information processing system includes: an information processor operating in an active state and a power saving state consuming less power than the active state, and recovering to the active state by receiving a signal in the power saving state and processing information in the signal; a signal transmitting device transmitting a signal to the information processor; and a communication line establishing communication between the information processor and the signal transmitting device. The signal transmitting device transmits the signal after appending, to a predetermined region inside the signal, the identification information for identifying a processing content of the signal. The information processor specifies the processing content from the identification information when receiving, in the power saving state, the signal, recovers to the active state where power is supplied to a functional unit to execute the processing content, and starts processing on information stored in a data region of the signal.

摘要: A method of cleaning for removing metal compounds attached to a surface of a substrate, wherein the cleaning is conducted by supplying a supercritical fluid of carbon dioxide comprising at least one of triallylamine and tris(3-aminopropyl)amine to the surface of the substrate and a process for producing a semiconductor device using the method of cleaning are provided. In accordance with the method of cleaning and the method for producing a semiconductor device using the method, etching residues or polishing residues containing metal compounds are efficiently removed selectively from the electroconductive material forming the electroconductive layer. When the electroconductive layer is a wiring, an increase in resistance due to residual metal compounds can be suppressed, and an increase in the leak current due to diffusion of the metal from the metal compounds to the insulating film can be prevented. Therefore, reliability on the wiring is improved, and the yield of the semiconductor device can be increased.

摘要: The separator charges the particles to be separated and passes them through an alternating electric field which has a non-uniform intensity in a direction perpendicular to the forward direction, and which also has field lines curved in the same direction. The particles which move along the curved field lines due to their charge are thus subjected to a centrifugal force which effects their separation. The separator includes a pair of conductive electrodes, the first being substantially horizontal or possibly at an angle from the horizontal and the second mounted facing the first at a predetermined angle to it. The electrodes may be planar or curved. The field is supplied by an ac source operating in the range of 3 to 1000 hz. A mechanical vibrator attached to the first electrode imparts the forward motion to the particles.
