Abstract:
In a method for selecting objects of an electronic device, a touch operation performed on a touch screen of the electronic device is detected. A selection region on the touch screen is determined according to a touch operation that is detected from the touch screen. The selection region is scaled according to one or more predetermined ratios when contact points of the touch operation move on the touch screen. Objects displayed on the touch screen are selected according to the determined selection region.
Abstract:
In a file management method of an electronic device, multi-touch operations on a touch screen of the electronic device is detected in real-time. File attributes of operating objects of the electronic device that are selected by a multi-touch operation are acquired, and a file type is determined for each of the operating objects according to the file attributes of each of the operating objects, wherein the file type is a file or a folder. The operating objects are managed according to the file type of each of the operating objects.
Abstract:
In a method of detecting input for a portable electronic device, when a virtual keyboard is displayed on a display of a touch panel, an accelerometer detects orientation of the portable electronic device to adjust a contact area of each key of the virtual keyboard. The adjusted display of each key provides a suitable contact area on the virtual keyboard according to the detected orientation of the portable electronic device.
Abstract:
Ophthalmic irrigating solutions are disclosed. The ophthalmic irrigating solution comprises: a) γ-polyglutamic acid (γ-PGA) and/or salt thereof in an amount effective to increase the viscosity of the irrigating solution; and b) an ophthalmically acceptable aqueous vehicle for the γ-PGA and/or salt thereof. Also disclosed is a method of irrigating ocular tissues of a patient, in which the method comprises introducing to the ocular tissues of the patient an ophthalmic irrigating solution comprising γ-PGA) and/or salt thereof in an amount sufficient to irrigate the ocular tissues of the patient.
Abstract:
Embodiments according to the present invention relate generally to PAG bilayer and PAG-doped unilayer structures using sacrificial polymer layers that incorporate a photoacid generator having a concentration gradient therein. Said PAG concentration being higher in a upper portion of such structures than in a lower portion thereof. Embodiments according to the present invention also relate to a method of using such bilayers and unilayers to form microelectronic structures having a three-dimensional space, and methods of decomposition of the sacrificial polymer within the aforementioned layers.
Abstract:
A solar cell including a photoelectric conversion layer, a back electrode, a plurality of conductive fingers parallel to each other, at least one bus bar and at least one connection ribbon is provided. The photoelectric conversion layer has a front surface and a back surface. The back electrode is disposed on the back surface of the photoelectric conversion layer. The conductive fingers are disposed on the front surface of the photoelectric conversion layer. The at least one bus bar is disposed on the front surface of the photoelectric conversion layer and is electrically connected to the conductive fingers. The connection ribbon covers the bus bar and is electrically connected to the bus bar, wherein the bus bar covered by a single connection ribbon has a discontinuous pattern.
Abstract:
A method of fabricating a solar cell is provided. A first type substrate having a first surface and a second surface is provided. A first doping process is performed on the first surface of the first type substrate by using a first dopant, so as to form a first type lightly doped layer. A second doping process is performed on a portion of the first type lightly doped layer by using a second dopant, so as to form a second type heavily doped region. A molecular weight of the second dopant is larger than a molecular weight of the first dopant, and a temperature of the first doping process is higher than a temperature of the second doping process. A first electrode is formed on the second type heavily doped region. A second electrode is formed on the second surface of the first type substrate.
Abstract:
A composition comprising a polymer that comprises oxidated hyaluronic acid cross-linked by a dihydrazide is disclosed. The polymer is a hydrogel exhibiting the following properties: a) transparent and colorless; and b) transforming from a liquid state into a gel-matrix at 37° C. These characteristics make it useful as a vitreous humor substitute.
Abstract:
A multifunctional helmet has a helmet and a ventilation module. The helmet has a shell with a jaw guard integrally formed at a front of the shell. A mounting slot is defined in the jaw guard. The ventilation module is mounted in the mounting slot. The ventilation module has a housing, a fan and a switch group. Switches in the switch group control the fan to draw air into the helmet or expel air out of the helmet. In addition, a lighting module is added to the helmet to provide light when required.
