Abstract:
The invention relates to a portable light manipulator including a frame and a manipulator cloth that is stretched or can be stretched on the frame, wherein the frame includes at least one tension bar, which has at least two moving sections that can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the tension bar and are connected to one another or can be connected to one another, said moving sections being spring-loaded so as to be capable of being forced apart from one another by spring force in the longitudinal direction of the tension bar.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a camera screw and to a system consisting of a camera screw and a carrying strap. Carrying straps with appropriate fastenings on the sides of the camera are known. They have numerous disadvantages that should be avoided by the present invention. The camera screw in accordance with the invention for connecting a carrying strap to a tripod thread of a camera includes a first part and a second part. The first part includes a tripod screw on a first end and a circumferential collar on the second end. The second part surrounds the first part between the collar and the tripod screw in a rotatable manner relative to the first part about an axis of rotation. A friction reducing means is provided between the second part and the collar. The second part includes a fastening for the carrying strap.
Abstract:
A retaining element that is detachably securable to a connector that is securable to a threaded bushing embedded in the bottom of a camera housing for preventing the connector screw from loosening in the threaded bushing. The retaining element has a connecting section, a spacer section and a rear-engagement section. The connecting section detachably secures the retaining element to the connector screw. The spacer section adjoins the connecting section and extends along the bottom of the camera housing when the connector screw, with the retaining element secured thereto, is screwed into the threaded bushing. The rear-engagement section adjoins the spacer section and extends at an angle relative to the spacer section. The rear-engagement section engages behind a wall of the camera housing, in particular the rear wall that adjoins the bottom of the camera housing.
Abstract:
A system comprising a flashlight and continuous light reflector arm for fixing to a photographic apparatus, a flashlight, a continuous light unit, or to film or video cameras. Flash units are often mounted centrally onto a camera causing the flash to come from the same direction from which the photograph is taken. The system allows targeted illumination from a direction different from that from which the photograph is taken, does not require complicated measures with regard to flash control, manages with comparatively little light power and does not further influence the center of gravity of the camera. The system is composed of camera and flashlight or continuous light unit, including a fixing arm fixed to the photographic apparatus by a fixing means and includes means for fixing a reflection element, wherein the reflector arm is designed such that the reflection means is positioned laterally alongside the photographic apparatus.
Abstract:
An impact-damper element for carrying straps that is active in a longitudinal direction. The element has a flexible, flat band portion with two mutually opposite main surfaces, runs in a longitudinal direction in undulating lines that are deflected transversely to the longitudinal direction and have reversal points and transverse portions running between the reversal points. A support is applied to at least one of the main surfaces of the band portion, is fixed to the band portion, retains the band portion in a normal position along the undulating lines and is made of an elastic material. The support is of varying thickness over the course of the undulating lines; being of the smallest thickness in a central portion of the transverse portions of the band portion and the thickness increases from the central portion to the reversal points. The support is at its thickest at the reversal points.
Abstract:
A portable light reflector or diffusor includes a reflection or diffusion cloth attached to a foldable framework composed of longitudinal struts and a transverse strut which is stiff with respect to compression and connects the two longitudinal struts, wherein the transverse strut has ends bent in the direction towards the plane defined by the longitudinal struts and the reflection or diffusion cloth attached to the longitudinal struts, wherein the angle between the bent ends and the intermediate piece between the ends is greater than 90°. A belt extends parallel to the transverse strut in such a way that the longitudinal struts are pressed apart for tensioning the reflection or diffusion cloth.
