摘要： A method of identifying faults in a polyphase alternating current electric power transmission system wherein determination of the type of fault occurring is effected by monitoring, using analogue techniques, the instantaneous values of quantities derived from superimposed currents and/or voltages arising in the system on occurrence of a fault. Apparatus for carrying out the method is also disclosed.
